South Korea is a developed country n India is counted in developing country.

World still see India is backward in many aspects. Infrastructure wise India is still behind but korea is at par with western countries. Koreans look rich with their lifestyle.

Korea has more money n infrastructure to host international events like Olympics which makes foreigner visit korea. Then countries do trade tie ups n west want top notch quality for products so korea is able to provide the quality west wants.

Such things promote culture,music, lifestyle etc.

India's funds go in many kind of subsidies for large poor population. Hence it's left with little for promotion of its culture, food, music etc n doing collaborations.

I always wonder why Korean men don't have facial hair 🤪

Our South Asian nations are also corrupt. Not just poor.

Too much pollution, counterfeit products.

I am glad someone admitted the last part.

Indians are hirsuit.

I marvel at skin of Korean men and women which is so smooth. We have hairy skin and need to get regular laser, waxing and whatnot to get rid of facial and body hair.

Even after shaving and waxing you can see a bit of hair or ingrown hair or dark patch on that part.

And to cover it up you have to use some foundation or skin bleaching cream or body polish cream.

The hairless and smooth facial skin of Korean celebs is definitely something to envy.

Of course ^^ these are my opinion.

I am glad you have been so honest and did not get defensive nor bashed Koreans or acted all pseudo nationalist to hype some local regional actor and claim they are better than Korean superstars or hype local films and serials and call them better than Korean ones which are taking world by storm unlike South Asian films and serials.

Even our skin care and beauty products are not famous globally as Korean ones.

Nor is any South Indian star as famous worldwide as Korean stars are.

Aishwarya Rai is the only Indian celeb who managed to become a legit global phenomenon known for her looks.

No one else reached her level. The closest one who has managed is Priyanka Chopra Jonas in recent years.

I already read your posts yesterday and responded to them. I 'm referring to few other posts written by other people who said those statements of how one particular state in India only have beautiful people. If you said such statements then my response would be the same bcz those statements are not the facts.

People who are fans of kdramas/kpop/ whatever k related entertainment forget that majority of people don't even give a f*ck about these dramas/music.. I'm sorry I'm nowhere belitlling koreans/Korean entertainment when I said this, but looking at the way people talking here as if majority of the world heck even majority of Indians watch Korean dramas/kpop.😆

I watched some 15 Korean dramas some years back in college, liked only few of them(ofcourse all were better than Indian TV shows though). And Kpop or exo or whatever it is I don't even know what it is. I believe whoever watch these stuff are very vocal in social media and looking at those random trends by such people, people claim like everyone in the world is going gaga over Korean entertainment.

Almost all of them.

Very few are rare exceptions with good skin, chiselled and sharp faces and features or good hair and atleast white, clean even teeth.

South Asians also struggle with healthy weight and are either reed thin and underweight or look malnourished or are overweight and flabby.

Desis also struggle with hirsutism and have excessive body hair.

Desi men especially never focus on own looks, fitness or grooming at all. Easily one of the most careless and unkempt about own looks. Though it is changing somewhat in urban areas now. But by and large they are unconcerned about even basic hygiene let alone looks or fitness.

I thought it was aimed at me.

I was wondering which state did I refer to.

Though if I was indeed asked, I would choose people of J&K. That region indeed has the most good looking people be it men, women, seniors, kids.

Kashmiris are as beautiful as their region of birth.

I feel sad they all had to suffer so much. But they easily stand out and thanks to living in mountainous and snowy region they have natural pinkish glow on cheeks which looks both healthy and adorable. Unlike ones who put artificial paints on cheeks to look like a blush or pink/red glow, but end up looking more like they got some allergy or their cheeks are red due to mosquito bites.

I am aware of popularity of Turkish dramas among South Asian Muslims specifically.

The community finds it relatable or likes the representation.

Erutugul or whatever was wildly famous some years ago.

But Turkish dramas are not famous worldwide like Korean ones currently are.

Their popularity is limited to a region and a community.

Korean is closest one which has managed to get audience almost like that of American shows and toons, movies in recent times, transcending borders.
