Yes. . But what if in something the facts were minor, like a small wardrobe mistake?

All I can say is I can’t support Amazon deleting one movie that hurts sentiments if they still have other movies (which also are being protested against) that are not deleted yet. Delete them all or none

Yes I agree.

When they are hurting sentiments. They should all go.

No, I did not...only if you want to misinterprete my post deliberately...you never heard/read about a state named Israel?

Please don't try to portray me as anti-Semite even when I tell you that there had been a lot of wealthy Jews who initially supported Hitler...and later there had been Jews who reported Jews, helped to deport them, to keep the guard, to kill them

Everything I wrote is related to being human, whatever race, nationality, social position or religion, btw.

Also history knows many leaders who made evil prosper...don't get fixed on Hitler...take another name.

Please don’t waste your breath. It’s not worth it. Many Jews are rich and wealthy and we don’t agree with the Israeli government so let’s shit on ‘em and laugh about the holocaust and innocent people dying through no fault of their own. Pathetic.

bold: nobody here does that!

How quick people are to be judgemental, to reproach, to join the chorus...

well, I object even though I won't comment on this movie anymore...

I applaud everyone who did understand its message, though.

That's what you wrote though?

Didn't the Jewish Human Rights organization reflect about in how many ways Jews, too, showed the little Hitler in them respective to greed for money

What exactly does the State of Israel in 2023 have to do with the people of Germany in 1939? Are all Jewish people one singular entity with a hive mind? What even is the point you are trying to make?

I am not exactly even sure why you feel the need to defend a poorly written film that is likely leaning into the controversy to gain attention.

As I don't feel what you feel (and many others) I write why I don't feel what you feel, but what I feel.

If it sounds like a defense to you then that's the way it is to you 😎

To the other part of your post I'll give no reply as I get the feeling you didn't understand what I wanted to make clear. Would you better understand if I rephrase it? I think you already have made up your mind... 😉

Hey Clochette

I don't think there was anything wrong with your post.

These days you can't criticize Israel without the label 'anti-semitic' and all the oh so mighty portrayal of freedom of speech goes outta window 😆

Holocaust was a terrible thing to have happened but racial and ethnic cleansing has been happening all over the world and still now, but hardly any of those garner a reaction as strong as Holocaust.

To reply to the first post, I can skip all the comments for a later reading.

To me, the reaction is absolutely revealing of a thinking that would not accept that indeed this line has a right to be there, but that the fact that "Hitler" is named, makes people biased.

Didn't the Jewish Human Rights organization reflect about in how many ways Jews, too, showed the little Hitler in them respective to greed for money...and later giving way to their greed of land and power disrespecting human rights and showing acts of evil? What do they want to put onto the balance of justice on the right and the left side...

should the name of a man value more than the constant misdeeds and showing of evil that Mankind did and still does because of negative greed?

In this movie, naming Hitler was exactly the right name...in another movie- maybe about the war in Ukraine, it would be Putin to be the right name...in a movie about the historic happenings depicted in Padmavaat it would be Kiljit, the name...etc.

Yes, in all human beings is a little Hitler, Putin, Kiljit...there is no human being that hasn't the possibility of being evil...it is up to everybody how to deal with the devil in us, how much room we give him...inside and outside...

Naming Hitler, Putin or any other (bad) historical figure isn’t the problem here. The issue is comparing two things that aren’t at all comparable. Useless man and abusive husband can’t be compared to Hitler. A wife with disability can’t be compared to the innocent lives Hitler tortured and killed. If you want to discuss what’s happening in Palestine or Ukraine now that’s a different story and I doubt many of us will be opposing your opinions on these matters but just because the Jew government is doing something wrong now doesn’t make what happened in WWII okay.
