Swati, you and I were the hardest on Arnav not cutting him too much slack. I was feeling what Khushi would have felt as I read what Arnav did and what he felt was his justification for his behavior. Now he sees what a folly his justification really was. How selfish, self centered and egotistical he really was being. I am still not liking Arnav much.

Couldn’t agree more with your thoughts above and in this paragraph. I felt all the emotions what khushi will go through as exactly penned down by our author. Heartbreaking.

I am going to comment in small parts.

I somehow understand arnav but felt more pain and devastation then numbness all over after khushi's reaction. Most women in our country (not including the metro cities becuase things r very much different and modern but majority of population reside in small towns, rural areas) somehow represent Khushi. Being a girl child, living a sheltered life, grooming to be daughter in law or someone's wife. Before marriage under the shadow of father - after marriage under the shadow of husband, then in ur middle age to old age under the shadow of eldest or alone. I think this particular stage of life will eventually teach her a lesson that to never trust anyone blindly(be it family or partner). For that she needs to pick up all those broken self and ready to wage battle against her own insecurities, selflessness and inferiority complex.

Arnav, ab kya bathau? late realisation and assumptions killed his chance of happiness. Wish he went for that therapy year ago. Thoughts muddled, no Communication and his over responsibility and always do right mantra fu@ked up everything.

VD and khushi and rhea and Arnav 🤣

The twist Arpita have in mind is Arnav and Khushi at the end be sister in law and brother in law celebrating Rakhi.😈.

Okay, I have cried cursed and slept over it. I don’t think I could have said anything yesterday. My brain pretty much behaved like Arnav’s and things jumbled up.

first of all, I am beyond bummed that the boxers lost the match. In hindsight it does make sense because then pregnancy was much more believable to Arnav.

However, if he really was drugged in any capacity, I will personally write enough curses to Lavanya that I might just get banned off IF. I swear. He’s dying in guilt.

Coming to Khushi, you make my heart twist in pain for her. Despite knowing of all the circumstances in which Arnav did what he did, this chapter hurt me as much as Khushi’s interlude. Her winds are so raw and this is the first time we see her acknowledge the intensity of her pain. Needless to say, it hurts.

It did not even occur to me how it would have seemed to her when Arnav’s asked her who told you instead of how are you? As a reader I know he was going absolutely crazy at the time, but she doesn’t know the extent of it. Khushi would have reached out to wipe his tears if places were swapped. In fact right now when she was in absolute low, she still was tempted to reach out to him instinctively 💔💔

I am again bowled over by how much this woman actually loves and believes in him. She accepted his answer that he did not have an affair because she still believes he is a decent enough human being to not lie at this stage and if anything that killed Arnav more.

And to acknowledge that she still didn’t say a single thing with the purpose of hurting him or demeaning anyone else. She simply stated what she felt and even that was unbearable to Arnav. Her turning away from him has caused him so much pain. A good reality check to what she must have felt.

Also, I am so glad that this chapter did not focus on Lavanya alone and Khushi called him out for shutting her down. If we have any hopes for them in the future, this problem needed to be addressed. I hope it knocks some sense into both of them about their priorities.

Now coming to Arnav. I wanted to rip my hair out. I am hurting for him too but him realising how bad he is at communication is literally the worst thing possible. You as a writer nailed it, me as a reader just cried realising it.

The way my heart twisted when he shut up because things had started to sound like excuses in his own head 💔😭 I am glad he still fought his natural instincts of running away and told her majority of it. I wish if he finds out that his drink was hampered or even if he remembers how vehemently he said no to Lavanya, he would let her know. I seriously wish whatever our lord saviour Aman comes up with, is enough for Arnav to look Khushi in the eye. Someday.

He needs to apologise and tell her with more conviction that what he did was for her benefit. I guess in some ways he already said that and Khushi also accepted it. But her question was too valid. How come she is the one who ends up getting hurt if everyone was trying to protect her only. 💔💔💔

I am still team Arshi who believes they need a lot of therapy. I had to go back and read Arnav’s memory lane again to remind myself of what the reality was. Not that it makes Khushi’s pain any less real. I needed to remind myself where his heart was when all of it happened.

coming to VD. I see what you did there.

His last line was ‘let’s find your happiness (Khushi)

you really did not go subtle with breaking my Arshi heart there di 😭😭. My hopes of seeing them end up together in this FF are slashed by half after this chapter. I have the same feeling as Arnav. He is too late.

Khushi realising that she had put herself behind everything was the only silver lining in this chapter. I hope in coming days, she comes out of this paralysing pain and puts herself first. She still getting moved by Arnav’s tears is my last hope for both of them and my own sanity.

ps- on a lighter note, now that boxers have lost the match , we will fill pages thinking what is VD’s full name 😭

take a bow di. Take a bow. Every time I think I’ve become normal, this FF pulls me back into madness.

A gut wrenching chapter. The good part is he did not run this time. He faced it head on. This was always going to be a difficult conversation but he knew he had to do it now. For his sanity and hers. And out it came. Every bit of it broke her some more. We thought she had reached rock bottom, but no. She has reached there now. She will cry till her tears run dry. Then she will pick herself up. What will she do now? She might not have the answer yet but she will get there.

There is a lot more to say, but its getting late. Time to brush my teeth and get some sleep.

I vaguely remember Arnav mentioning a valuable employee that was doing something for him and was good at her job. I am thinking he said Rhea. I am looking back but so far haven’t found that small scene.

I can’t find the scene. In fact I did find a scene with another character so I might have been thinking of that.

Has boxers actually lost the match, I don’t know because as I said if they have either it was r*pe or Arnav cheated.

Shradha sorry couldn’t tag you.

This was heartbreaking. This was so much more than my rant about his indifferent behavior and taking decisions for her and what it would do to his wife.

I never factored her personality or how she sees her relationship with her husband. The ray of hope that he always sees in her eyes is the love and hope that things are not as bad it seems and it will be alright ! (That was so sad and painful to read)

I am keeping aside his ONS. Maybe he was drugged maybe he was not. Yes he will find out who was behind the pics and he will settle scores.

But I hope he also spends time on all what Khushi said to him today. His own responses his biases and what drive his decisions. That he did not ever factor how it would affect her.

The few are "I thought I had ruined her life Khushi” ..so Lavanya was actually pregnant then what would he have done? Leave Khushi his wife, I guess.

It is always about him and what he thinks is the right thing to do. His self importance.

The mistake may be his . But it affects the couple and the two make a decision and face it "together".

Yes it is also true that he now has realized that his reasons for divorce was wrong and he loves her dearly. But why is it always about him ,his needs

"How did he ever doubt he was not important to her?"

A relationship is about two people.

Not sure what to make of his asking if Khushi wanted to leave today.

He just told his wife that he was going to leave her not because of a affair. He was also supporting a ONS woman because she was pregnant..because he ruined that woman's life supposedly. You have shattered all her beliefs...give her time and space. Which no one has given her till now.

Hope he has now realized how unconditionally she loves/loved him..and he should make all effort to win back her trust.

I guess Khushi journey for self discovery has already started. Assuming the appearance of VD in the story is to help her recognize her self worth.
