ETF office parking lot.
Arjun and Riya got down from car. As they were heading towards the office Riya felt her limbs go numb. Arjun sensed her uneasiness and hold her hand giving her a assuring look. Looking into his eyes Riya felt peace. She took a deep breath and flashed him a breathtaking smile. They again started going inside when they saw Unit 2 entering the office. A frown appeared on Arjun's face as he saw them tense, while Riya was confused. Arjun call them gaining their attention.
Arjun : Sameer.
They looked towards him and were amused to see Arjun with an unknown girl and holding hands.
Sam : Jai hind Sir.
Arjun : Jai hind. Kya hua tum sab log bahut pareshan lag rahe ho??
Sam : Kuch nahi sir ek case ke baare mein soch rahe the. Waise Yeh kon hai??
Arjun : Conference room mein chalo sab ka introduction saath mein hi ho jayega.
Sam : Okk sir.
They all moved inside the office and directly went inside the conference room where Choree and Sameer were waiting for them. As soon as they saw Ariya entering their eyes were lit up with delight while the girl frowned seeing an unknown girl with Arjun. All greet Arjun and he nodded at them. Sameer comes and stands near Ariya.
Sameer: Guys main kisi bahut special insaan se aap logo ka introduction karna chahta hu. (Pointing at Riya) Yeh hai Riya. Senior inspector Riya Mukharjee. ETF ki third in command, Research specialist and first female officer. 1 saal pehle Mumbai main jo X-zora II virus phela tha usse isne swallow kar liya tha and bahut saare masoom logo ki jaan bachai hai. Yeh na sirf ek kabil officer hai, but ek achi insaan bhi hai. I'm really very proud of you Riya.
All : We too are proud of you.
All of them salute her. All the people present in the room were extremely proud of her. The amount of respect she saw in all of their eyes swelled her chest with happiness. Sameer introduced all of them to her. After the introduction all of them got back to their work. Unit 2 went to their office to look after the ongoing cases while unit 1 got back to completing the paperwork.
As Arjun was free he decided to show Riya around the new office. As they were walking around the staff was shocked to see ACP Arjun Rawte talking and smiling with a girl. Unit 1 had got their sunshine back but unit 2 was tense as hell.
Sam's cabin.
Sam was sitting on his chair resting his head in the head rest. His hands in a tight fist make his wrist go white. A storm was going on in his mind, making his breadths heavy. Naina enters his cabin only to see him in this condition. She knew he was on the verge of getting an anxiety attack. She immediately went to him and took him in her warm embrace. She started whispering sweet nothings to make him calm. Her warmth seeped into him, making him relax in her arms. They stayed like this for sometime. When Naina felt like Sam was now ok, he broke a hug and kissed his forehead lovingly.
Naina : Kya baat hai Sameer?
Sam : Tumhe pata hai kya baat hai.
Naina : Jaanti hu ki kya baat hai. Aur yeh bhi janti hu sirf yeh ek baat tumhe pareshan nahi kar rahi hai. Baato mujhe kya baat hai?
Sam : Tum ne suna na ki Commissioner sir yeh case split kar rahe hai.
Naina : Aur tum yeh case share nahi karna chahte.
Sam : Mujhe case share karne se koi problem nahi hai. Mujhe pata hai yeh bahut hi important and bada mission hai aur uske liye bahut badi team lagegi. The reason for my worry is I have to share this mission with the very person who is the sole reason for all my miseries.
Naina : Sameer shant ho jao. Sab thik ho jayega.
Sam : Kuch thik nahi hoga. Commissioner sir chahte hai ki main apni life ka sabse bada mission. Jiske liye maine police force join ki, main wo mission uss insaan ke saath share karu jiske wajah se yeh sab hua hai. Mujhse nahi hoga yeh sab.
Naina : Sameer sambhalo apne aap ko. Mujhe pata hai yeh difficult hai but humein yeh karna hoga. Aur main hu na tumhare saath. Munna Pandit hai, Swati Preeti hai aur Purab bhi haina. Hum sab ek saath hai toh tum kyu tension le rahe ho.
Sam : But agar unhone victims ki list dekh li toh unhe sab pata chal jayega.
Naina : Kuch pata nahi chalega. Agar wo pata karne ki kosish bhi karenge toh dead end hi milega unhe.
Sam : But.....
Naina : Sameer relax kuch nahi hoga. Aur agar kuch bhi hua toh main hu na tumhare saath. Sab sambhal lungi.
They again hug each other. They broke the hug when they heard the door of his cabin being knocked. Purab came and said that the commissioner had come and was calling them down in the conference room. They nodded and the team went down.
They salute the commissioner and he gestures them to take a seat with the rest to the team. As all of them settled down he started the meeting.
Commissioner : Riya good to see you back in action. You have made the department proud.
Riya : Thank you sir, par maine jo kiya wo mera farz tha.
Commissioner: So coming back to the point why I'm here. (Forwarding a file to Sameer) Rathore yeh mission ki saari details hai. Yeh mission bahut hi jyada important hai. Sikander ek international underworld Mafia hai. He is part of every illegal business be it trafficking, drugs peddling, illegal weapons supply. Humare officers ki kadi mehnat ke baad hum log usse trace kar paye hai. And this is a top secret mission. Isliye iski choti se bhi choti details bahar nahi jani chahiye. Toh if any one wants to back out you can. Ek baar yeh mission start ho gaya toh phir koi bhi back out nahi kar sakta.
All : Hum ready hai sir.
Commissioner : Toh phir thik hai main tumhe 2 din deta hu case ko puri tarah study karne aur plan banane ke liye. Uske baad tum logo ki training shuru hogi.
