So I want boxers to win over Mala D😔

Same. I don’t even want this from Arnav-Khushi pov. I actually don’t want this for Arnav’s sake 💔😭

When Aman was telling him the truth, he was more concerned about the fact that he spied on Lavanya.

I find it concerning at times, how Arnav seems biased towards MaLa for some reason. Whereas he was willing to separate himself and dole out the biggest Punishment on Khushi (divorce) because he "supposedly" did not love her anymore.

He even went on to face his previous employer who had to shut down his project and let him go and subtly show off but his interactions with MaLa after the revelation (that could have altered his life) were lukewarm.

Arnav-Khushi's relationship seems too imbalanced to me now. Khushi goes all out to become the selfless soul and Arnav just goes on to become selfish and single-handedly decide the future of their marriage.

He can make the decision to divorce, and go on to tell the closest of his friends. He even told MaLa about it but called Khushi immature when she decided to shut herself up and send in her lawyers.

I am sorry is it me or if Arnav actually mused that since he is unable to give Khushi what she wants and unable to compromise on one thing does that mean he doesn't love her anymore? Because as per him if u love that person u compromise like Khushi is doing. I felt that was just one of his thought like a question to self and not an outright sentence saying 'he doesn't love her anymore'

Help me here guys I am confused now. Isha please do the honours

For me I thought he reached the conclusion of divorce because ehe didn't want Khushi to be unhappy, he didn't want Khushi to compromise and he was unable to keep her happy. Not because he wanted Khushi out of his life

Tashi I missed commenting on ur observation of match 2006 and March 2016 confrontation. Yeah I am so dreading that confrontation

I have this Huge FOMO that that part will come in August 2nd week when I am on my trek and I will miss the discussions

Now I am looking forward to the chapter updates as well as the discussions that follows.

On the divorce discussions, I am sorry but it slightly irritates me that people keep saying he discussed the divorce with friends. Till the initial chapters that was the impression and even I was pi**Ed at him but now it's clarified that payal saw Naina and got to know it. She stormed out followed by akash. They ghosted him after that. The first conversion Arnav has with akash after that is on 18th when Khushi knows about the divorce. So he never 'discussed' it with his friends. That gives impression that he was having a casual chat over glass of drinks and told them 'by the way guys I am applying for divorce'

I am with u all about his telling to MaLa. I am irritated with him for that but not for akash and payal

I have also reached the same conclusion. He convinced himself, he can’t give her even after trying the one thing she has asked so it means he does not love her. 🤦‍♀️

Frankly Ashivini, this is what I got from the story.

because of Tashi I read an old chapter again yesterday and here are my thoughts.

Arnav is too harsh on himself. Has been since forever. His carelessness never only affected him, he had been looking after a family practically since he was a teenager so there was no scope of making a mistake. In that old chapter , when he loses his job, he tells Khushi ‘I should have seen it coming’

no, he couldn’t have. His boss encouraged him to work on this and then fired him. He immediately accepts that this is how corporate works, doesn’t stop to take into account his loss or talk to Khushi until he secures the next job.

after that he spends the whole week with Khushi because he won’t get time otherwise and bans the work talk at home for that whole week. The first day he comes back from job his next plan of action is ready. Only then he stops and tells Khushi that he was terrified out of his mind about his father’s medical bills and Anjali’s loan. He immediately pushes MBA dreams aside and decides to work on the software on the side because even a backbreaking job is not enough to support his family.

Throughout this story, his pointing finger first lands at himself. Lavanya says she came on to him and he says sorry and leaves. There also he cries out that he is the married one and he should have remembered.

This man had convinced himself that since he is unable to give Khushi a happiness she truly deserved, that must mean he doesn’t love her anymore. Lavanya incident is cheating in his eyes and it cements the notion in his head. He tells Aakash it was easier to live away from her than get into baby discussion or let her stay in an unhappy marriage.

I can’t find the part right now but he says this out loud to himself. That maybe he doesn’t love Khushi anymore.

He is wrong of course. In his weird twisted way, I believe he does love her.

he was angry at Akash and Payal for that in prologue. That some friends they were who were not even ready to listen to his side of story

I had the same FOMO when I was leaving and Arpita was about to update Arnav’s POV, somehow it happened after I was back so yeah did not miss much. Now you calculations are right but enjoy your trip and we can tag you in every post. That could be difficult with so many tags but you won’t miss out any conversations.

Maybe you are right! But it's like without the baby-talk, its like they had run out of things to talk about al of a sudden. They started going without talking to each other for days, growing distant. Since he could not give her the one thing he wanted, he thought it was his duty to set her free, thus bringing in an expiration date in this marriage between 2 people.

My only concern here is that Arnav had made up his mind without asking for Khushi's opinion. I know, that they didn't talk but Khushi did try her best to mend the gap and he just decided to shut her off. He moved out of the bedroom because he did not want to talk.

I may be wrong and biased here, but Arnav and Khushi both need therapy. First individually and then as a couple if they both agree to save the marriage.
