Above all, she prioritizes her role as a mother, concerned about her child's, with everything else, including her profession as a lawyer, coming second. When the principal called and informed her about Abhir's issues, her concern for her child's happiness and welfare became important. As a mother witnessing a significant change in her child’s personality, she rightfully questions the Birlas, who seem to be acting on their own set of rules.

While she may put her law degrees to use in legal matters, her immediate focus is on ensuring her son's well-being and happiness. If she faces further injustice through the separation from her son and additional constraints, she might use her legal knowledge. For now, her primary concern lies with being the best possible mother for Abhir.

she could have used her law degree and found a legal way to deal with it. Isn't it?

If she has to act like how a person who does not know laws then there is no use of making her lawyer 🙂 i would have loved to see her as lawyer who takes action like a lawyer. If they just want to show a desperate mother who being a lawyer thinks like a normal mom i don't even feel like watching it.

I understand your perspective, but I respectfully disagree. While Akshara could have used her law degree to find a legal solution, her actions as a mother should not be undermined. It's true that she may have moments of vulnerability and emotions, but that doesn't diminish her love and dedication to her child.

I appreciate the desire to see Akshara take more strategic and calculated actions. However, being a lawyer doesn't mean one can't experience emotions or make mistakes as a parent. Motherhood is a complex journey that involves both logical thinking and emotional responses.

Akshara's portrayal as a caring and devoted mother with human flaws and challenges makes her character more relatable and authentic. It shows that even with a law degree, one can still experience the complexities of motherhood.

Portraying a mother with emotions and imperfections can add depth and relatability to the show.

As you mentioned, we are indeed free to disagree, and I appreciate the diverse opinions and discussions on this forum. Thank you for sharing your viewpoint.

The best example of how a mother can go to any extent was shown in ek haseena thi. Where sakshi was so careful before taking any step for her son. She is a bad mother i agree. But she was the fierce lion for her son who went to any extent to save her son and her each move was very well calculated and she was not emotional like akshara rather she had a plan for everything.I prefer seeing akshu like that than this akshu who makes mistakes cries and blame others. But as i said we are free to disagree 🙂.

Anyone being surrounded by a family like the Birlas would become "desperate". . And a mother that does wrong just because they're fiercely protective of their kids in my opinion, is not being a good parent actually. Because what are you teaching your kids? That goes for the lying that was done by Akshara or manipulating legal documents.

Manjiri is acting like the stereotypical sas that has over attachment to her son and views anyone that takes her precious son away from her (or grandson) as evil.

That's regressive and really hoping this stops being shown on ITV.

Umm how is Akshara supposed to use her law degree to solve Abhir's academic and mental health issues? Lol

ITV has to stop showing normal middle class person can take situation in their hands as powerful people can use it for their benefits. Because of these fake scenes people who do not understand how court works just thinks we can take decisions based on our emotions. But we can not as it will be used as a weapon if not done carefully.

The courts I work at don’t act like the ones in the show 😂. Terminating visitation rights is a whole hearing where Abhimanyu has to prove how he thinks Akshara violated the orders but Abhimanyu himself said Sharmas can meet Abhir anytime. Yahan to grandmother who has no rights on Abhir is taking every legal action on behalf of Abhimanyu and within a few hours all legal formalities are taken care of. If a was a lawyer here id go bankrupt because we charge hourly and matters here are done within minutes 😂 but yeah Akshara should follow the law right? Law sirf Akshara hi follow karey? And which law says Akshara cannot be Abhir’s teacher. That’s a job for her and she does it. What’s the problem?

That's the thing if akshara would have won the court case she will ensure to keep abhimanyu away from abhir. But since it was abhi akshara is breaking all the laws. Yes i agree abhimanyu said that. But that does not mean akshu will forget her basic manners. If she barge into birla house and openly insult his mum for her husband instead of speaking calmly nobody will accept that. Atleast abhimanyu had basic common sense to apologize on behalf of his mom but akshara just thinks she is right she can insult anyone and everyone.

We can't expect too much logic from the show as how exactly are abhira are divorced in a day. 😂

But atleast if some one is showing good will atleast being a fl respect it instead tagging them as stranger in their kids life. Calling them as worst person exist on earth or insulting his entire family.

I am glad that manjari is taking action. Abhimanyu toh kuch karega nahi. People like akshara who don't have basic manners need to be treated like that 😆

Lol why are we assuming Akshara wouldn’t let Abhimanyu meet Abhir when she clearly said you can always come to Kasauli to meet him and he has always been meeting/staying with him. But yes if you think Manjari is right in taking a mother away from her son then nothing more to say :)

Absolutely! It's intriguing to observe how the show takes certain liberties to accelerate the legal process for dramatic effect.

In the show, the termination of visitation rights seems to happen rather swiftly, whereas in reality, it would involve a formal and more extensive hearing where Abhimanyu, as the father, would need to provide proper evidence of Akshara's alleged violations of court orders. The legal matters in the show are resolved within minutes, which is quite far from the reality where legal proceedings can be lengthy and time-consuming.

It's interesting how Manjari the grandmother, who doesn't hold any direct legal rights over Abhir, takes on legal actions on behalf of Abhimanyu. It is also, kind of strange that Abhimanyu lets Manjari do these selfish, ego centric behaviours and is a mere spectator.
