The "Welcome" franchise? With Akshay being Rajiv in the first one, only being as archive material in the second one (but Anil as a lead in both movies) and now as a crowd puller?

And if the title is really "Welcome to the Jungle"(Wiki), it makes me think that it may just be a lazy effort to rekindle to the success of the slapstick-comedy from too many years ago...

Edit: I've the same thought for Houseful 5 announcement...again with Akshay...anything really original for him in next time (after the movie about the mining engineer who rescued a lot of miners)?

Not having Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar for the third film is a stupid decision. They're heart of the franchise. Title (Welcome To The Jungle) also suggests its not really a sequel. They're rebooting the franchise with new story and new actors because they don't know how to take the old story forward. Also because the second film underperformed. Like Dhamaal series got rebooted with the third film, same formulae is being applied here. Except it won't be a remake of the first part either.

Seems to be some jungle adventure film like Jumanji which might make for an entertaining film. But it would be very different from the first two parts. They have a completely new script but have slapped Welcome 3 title to attract the audience.
