Episode 2

Choti Neerja is introduced. She prays before Maa Durga at the pandal and says Ami Neerja. Her innocent smile will make you to smile. At the pandal few kids are shown with them Neerja is playing. They wishes to have puchka , I didn't understand what's exactly the name of the food but I guess I heard it right. But moving to the stall few men keeps bad eyes on Neerja. At first one man comes forward and stared her from toe to head. Second another and then a third. Neerja was counting one two three in Bengali and she reminds what her Maa Protima said....If she find strangers gazing her she have to run away. Neerja ran from there . I must say in that Saree , paayal the little Neerja ran very well. Myra as Neerja had lot of potential. Then what we finds is Neerja arriving to the home and Didhun asks her what she saw in Pandal.She explains everything and says how beautiful is Durga maa's Murthy and priest was saying kids like Neerja are reflection of Durga Maa as they are innocent and pavitra. The priest doesn't knows she is from Sonagachi. Didhun praises her beauty in a cunning way but Neerja doesn't understands it..Protima gets scared and she takes Neerja to room in anger. She scolds her for going out and playing with kids. Neerja questions why she can't go out. ...Neerja tells how Didhun was saying she is Sundar and Protima fears the worst for her daughter. She scolds her again for saj dhajke jaana and tells aaj maafi nahin milegi. She took a ✂️ scissor and cuts the long hair of Neerja. It was heart breaking to see Neerja crying 😭😭😭😭 and how Protima was keeping her heart as stone. Neerja argues with Protima for making her badsoorat by this deed. She goes to Didhun and tells Protima is rude . Didhun smiles crookedly and applied lipstick on Neerja's lips and says she is always Sundar. Protima understand it's hard to keep truth hidden from her daughter. She decides to make her daughter educated. Protima goes to school with Neerja for education..... Principal tells Neerja to wait outside and insults Protima for her profession and says aise auraton ki bacchon ko sapne dekhne kaa adhikar nahi. But he changes his decision when he saw Neerja helping a kid and understand she is ambitious to study. He asks some basic questions and Neerja innocently answers it. He finds it as impressive and tells Protima that Neerja has got admission in this school....He asks Neerja to collect uniform and study materials from the counter. Protima express her gratitude and Principal says to make her educated you need to bring money.... Perhaps more money. Protima silently agreed for it with pain. Neerja shows her books and uniform to Protima and Protima feels proud on her daughter. Back to home Neerja tells that she is going to school..Her fellow kids probably daughters of other women in Sonagachi are excited and they tells only Protima got this luck to study. Didhun surprisingly offers some money on Protima and tells her to focus on Dhandha....At night Protima is about to leave. Neerja questions it and Protima tells a fairy tale and sungs lullaby for her to sleep..This happens all days where at nights Protima leaves and Neerja needs to spend time alone in a closed room , closing the windows too.

Precap: To get kulfi Neerja comes out to Street and she finds her mother Protima with heavy makeup and glittering saree . Protima is shocked and she tries to hide her face from her daughter.

Episode 3

I haven't watched it . Once I watch I will update it.

Okay now what impressed me is Myra as Neerja . She is brilliant in performing everything. Her moist eyes when her Mother scolds her will melt your heart. We feels sad for the kid 😭😭 bhagwan aisi kismat kisi bhi bacche ko naa de...For a second I thought aise brothel mein paida hone waale bacche kya kabhi bhi bahar hi duniya mein apni identity nahin bana paayenge? Unhein koyi uss kalank se nahin nikal paayenge ? Kya wahan ki auraton ki tarah unhke bacchon ki kismat mein bhi andhera hi likha hein? Didhun's eyes are extremely powerful, her crooked smile will make you scare Kamya nails every scene. The way Sneha as Protima scolding Neerja was so painful to watch....Poor baccha 🥺🥺 usse pata hi nahi kee uske Paapa kaun hein ? Uski maa kin mushkilon kaa saamna karti hein !!! School mein jab principal says bacchon ko adhikar nahi I felt very sad. I mean they are upcoming generation. Unki maa apni jaisi kismat bacchi ko naa dene ki koshish kar rahi hein....Woh jaanti hein woh badnam ho chuki hein. Woh din mein nikalti hein toh mard uske peeche aa jaati hein.....Woh chahkar bhi dusra koyi job nahin kar sakti..Par woh apni beti ko educate karke usse badnami se bachane ke liye lad Rahi hein..Usse ek normal see life Dena chahti hein....Maa ne joh galti kee uski saza beti ko kyun milni chahiye? Woh wahi sawal kar rahi hai??? And adhikar ki baat kar Raha thaa principal. Iss Desh mein har bacche ko educate hone kaa haq hein...Right to education ko todne kaa haq kisi ko bhi nahi hai.

I too watched the episode. It was very nice. I'm glad that they show Neerja having education and even the vamp is helping (though she plans something else with Neerja)

I wonder how Protima manage to hide her truth as Neerja saw her in make-up look.

By the way, you can name the title as Episode Discussion Thread. Mostly it will take a week or more to create a forum. No idea about moderator too.

Yeah as far as they won't deviate from the plot show has lot of scope . Let's see how it goes ahead. Around 11 years back,There was a documentary in CNN which lime light the issue of brothels in India years back..But now that is been removed from YouTube because of so many reasons. There a woman was explaining how at the age of 10 her family sold her to an agent who was right hand of people like Didhun....How she became a sex worker..She wanted to make her identity but never she got a chance for it. Once she ran away from the brothel when she got a chance to escape. She went to a shop which was running by a woman and she pleaded for giving any job as she was ready to do cleaning of utensils, ready to clean toilets but the owner insulted her and some staff of that shop ill treated her and grabbed her hands and legs. They made her to drank toilet cleaning liquid and police didn't took any action against them. Instead of it they arrested her . It was so painful to hear....

Sad that she was arrested. Was she leading a normal life that time or taken back to the brothel?

People of India still consider prostitutes as sinners or bad people (unless the prostitutes are happy with their work and not forced). I used to see social memes like when a prostitite like Sunny Leone is accepted in India, why don't they accept the rape victim? What do they mean? Should we not accept Sunny Leone in the society?

Don't know what happened to her 😭😭😭 Those untold pains were not told properly... It was very painful to hear her pain.,....Even if a girl comes out from that also society degrades them.. A woman itself insulted her which is very sad. None of the woman wants to be in brothel....May be the circumstances make them like that.....Woh bhi insaan hein...

Hope iss show mein woh message dikhaye . Aur women ke struggles ko highlight kare.

The performances are really good in the show, specially Kamya, she's a senior actor and has played villains before. She was so good as Sindoora but as didun she's so scary. She will remain till the end of the show. Hope her backstory is shown where she was a positive woman who wanted to fly but cruel world made her negative. 🙄 Didun' s character is really a menacing villain if shown right

Neerja is very small, slowly and slowly she will understand the world and the dangers lurking around her 🙄She does not know what sinister plans didun is making for her, she wants to sell her outside the country to earn dollars, how evil 😨🥺😢

Yes..The innocence in her , the way she questions Protima will melt your heart 😭

I am loving her and Kamya as Didhun is really terrific, she nails every scene.....Choice of actors are brilliant

May be Didhun have a backstory . We need to wait and watch.

The way people were manhandling her from being a bad area was so sad. It's not her fault she's a child of protima.🥺😭poor neerja

But I think after leap , her childhood friend will become a paramour of her husband 😦 as it's shown she's already being groomed by didun 🙄😨 and babban will become a villain too as he will like neerja and will try to separate her from her husband, this really is so scary to to watch 🙄 it's not for faint hearted viewers. I was so angry when didun was teaching her dance. 💔😡
