Huge TRP even in the 3rd year

TRP is out and it's 3.2. A show achieving a TRP of 3.2 even in its 3rd year deserves special praise. These days when shows struggle hard to manage ratings above 2.00, this show never received a rating below 2.5. We can be fed up with the storyline, but the general viewers are enjoying these stories. So, the makers are on the right path.

Anything Anupama centric (which it always is) gets TRP. People are connected to Anupama’s chr and loyal audience watch for her.. her sadness, happiness, her progress, growth, her milestones.. whatever it is, people watch for Anupama. Any chr can come and go, the trp will only come from Anupama.

In this show actually it’s not possible to bring gen leap easily.. cuz I don’t think audience will accept any other face.. it won’t be easy to replace Anupama.

Any celebration on set yet?

So 3rd-year celebrations going on ..some people got their wishes fulfilled..Maya's slap...Maya's exit ..Maa's udaan...( at least she got to sit on that flight )...maa not making her udaan..i got my wish too...😃i really wanted Kmaa to give a tight slap to Anu but Kmaa is in a coma so Gurumaa took that honor...strike SH...

And Ajab yaar ..you got ur wish too..MD Koki toh nahi hai par Koki se kam hai ke.....🤣

I have said this before, but its not a coincidence all top TRP shows are from star. I can understand one show like anupama being very popular, but one channel having all top shows is not possible, its all paid and agreed

TRPs are an obsolete way of calculating popularity, and it can be manipulated in a 100 ways

There is no way a show which dips so much in writing quality keeps getting same rating. No viewers will be this consistent or attached, a large % of people here have stopped watching (i know online is not the target audience but even older people in their houses have stopped watching)

We saw when anupama came on OTT where actual minutes watched, etc can be measured, it wasnt even a big hit compared to other new releases on hotstar. Because those things cannot be manipulated

Having worked in one of the biggest media house, I assure you whatever you said about TRPs being paid is absolutely right.

True!

The calculation of TRPs is perhaps outdated and NEEDS to change. Just that no one wants to change it.

Some channels have a larger hold and that leads to power dynamics. It has taken time to build. Itni jaldi thodi badal jayega.
