IKr!! Aik Sitam Aur was one of kind. Romance was apt, the villains were hilarious. It was never a depressing drama

So here it is. Mohsin is playing Anmol's abuser and Hamza will play his saviour. Geo dramas have same rinse and repeat stories.

We got Sufi creepy in ASA, the multi-talented villain. None of the dramas villains can match his level. What else do you want!! These trip and fall to har ITV dramas me hai 😳

it was amazing because you had really well rounded women characters who were positive for the most part. ushna wasn't a pushover and actually could care less about the guys chasing her. 😂 her true love was her mama. zainab was a ferocious mama bear and protected her adopted daughter. even naima for her mushroom soup disaster was interesting as she didn't want to be defined by disability and was a true leader in some ways.

even the men characters were well-written and were different. shehroze was a mama's boy but then totally stood by ushna above all else. wahab was a gentleman. all the side characters including teh villains all had well-rounded personalities. so yea, it was a really fun drama to watch. it felt different and was different.

as long as it is interesting in a fresh way, even rinse repeat stories can be entertaining. 😆

I can't agree more!! You know what, no matter how much we have cursed the writers and characters in ASA when it was on air but its importance I understood when I watched the PTV dramas after it. ASA definitely had much better characters. And the FL gave no attention to any of the guys. She hardly cared 🤣🤣🤣 she didn't even persuade Shehroz like many submissive FLs when he was angry at her, wo khud hi mafi mangne aaya jab akal thikane aayi 🤣🤣

Definitely. I am giving it a try mainly for chemistry but it will be really interesting to enjoy the plot too if you give your insights on it. I have always enjoyed your takes on shows. I had told you before that your posts in ASA threads were major reason for me to get hooked to ASA . 😳

I know right?! after seeing other popular serials, you really appreciate ASA more.

ushna was a hilarious amazing character. she chose sleep over guys chasing her. 🤣

she genuinely didn't care either way who she married and was more flattered by sufiyan's interest than actually be interested in him. that kind of duality is not something I have seen in many serials. then you had zainab who wasn't a weakling mama. never mind ushna was adopted and she didn't abandon her. no she fought with everyone. ultimately, it was about love stories between family members. that is what made ASA different in many ways.

aww thanks. I will definitely check it out for anmol. she was strangely entertaining even in siyani which was quite frankly such a bakwas show. 🤣
