I thought Sujata did the right thing not telling Viresh about Sameer stealing the money. My mom thought she was horribly wrong. She said that he wouldn't learn and repeat it again.

I think if she told Viresh...Sameer would've gone farther away. He is not a little kid. He needs to understand stuff on his own and not handfed. He would've hated her. Now he understood he was wrong on his own. He felt bad. And finally he stood up for his mom. He wouldn't repeat it again.

What do you guys think?

I do agree with u.With a family situation like Sujatas, where Vi has an acute temper, the mom in sujata wanted to protect Sam who was scared of VI and his misery at that time. This incident has made Sam a bit more human who used to constantly nag about Sus motherly love and constant nagging.Sam has now become closer to Su.And though I have no idea about how they are going to deal with the drug issue, believe that if Su taken the blame ,Sam would have ended up on the street, bitter, angry and would even commit crimes fro drugs just like the 'Bhai 'asked him to.

u know it could go both ways. some bkids who just dont care a hoot for others feelings would just do what they want. its precisely because sujata left the house that sam felt the remorse. imagine had he gotten away with it and sujata did not leave the house and the drama that followed would he have changed? i doubt it. so maybe ur mom is rite in a way.

I think it was wrong of her not to share with her husband. As the father of her children, he has a right to know what they are upto. By hiding the truth, she is destroying the trust that is essential to the relationship between husband and wife. Imagine if her husband kept the truth about the children from her -- she would be very hurt. He may not react the way she wants him to, but that is a risk the child takes when he misbehaves.
