How do celeb wives manage?

I have always wondered what do wives of celebs, big business tycoons, politcians etc do as their husbands are away for work or parties or have own affair and spend less time with wife and kids?

Also how do divorced ones like Reena, Kiran Rao manage? I have never heard much how they manage daily life or expenses. Is it only alimony, maintenance and child support paying their bills or do they do some work of their own or have investments and properties of their own through which they earn?

How do women pass time then? Do they live lonely lives or do they have own affairs?

Mithun and Amitabh for eg, said they had no time for family and never knew when their kids grew up or which class they studied. How did their wives like Jaya, Yogita cope with that neglect? How did kids handle father rarely being there?

Are celeb wives, kids and rest of family, lonely?

Same way American housewives coped in the 50s/60s

How do women pass time then? Do they live lonely lives or do they have own affairs?

They can of course have a life of their own. I asked about those women who seem to be doing nothing in career either.

I mean I never heard of Reena having a job or business of her own. So how did she manage after Aamir dumped her?

Also, we sure have our own circle of friends, social circle, paternal and maternal family, cousins etc, but do women not crave that husband also spends time with them?

Do kids not crave dad spends time with them?

I was wondering how they manage that lack of time or attention and lack of emotional labour and attention from a man's side.

It does not mean women should not have life of her own besides spouse and kids.

I have read about Nita and Tina Ambani doing social work, running NGOs, having own art galleries or cultural shows, centres or busy with Ambani school, CSR initiatives of Reliance etc. Do other wives do same stuff? Heard less of them. Are they low key? Or they just spend time with kids, in laws or rest of family?

I remember Amrita had started working on TV after her divorce. She occasionally does small roles in films now. What else she does to keep busy or feel less lonely as kids have also started own careers?

The number of films Akki does in a year, makes me doubt how much time he may really get to spend with his family.

Even Aamir claims he takes breaks for kids or nowadays reads to Azad or takes Junaid and Ira for lunches or trips.

But later admitted he was too busy with own work that he barely got to spend time with family.

Reena was listed as a producer in Lagaan. Maybe she has some level of ownership in AK Production. I have also seen her attend Paani Foundation events with Aamir and Kiran. I think she has been keeping busy, she’s just very private and doesn’t seem to care for media attention.

Overall I think it’s alimony and child support. The smart ones probably have some investments or even some kind of partnership, legally at least, in whatever venture the husband is into and that ensures steady income for them. This is also why some divorces get dragged out and become ugly. She wants more than he’s willing to give.

For some of them I think the stereotypes are true. They don’t care what the husband does as long as their lifestyle is maintained. Marriage for some of the ultra rich people is nothing more than a social and financial contract, a status thing.

Celebrity wives of busy husbands manage just like normal wives of busy husbands.

And even if women are not spending free time publicly - there is a lot to do in private free time beyond family or having affairs.

- painting

- playing instruments

- gardening

- baking

- solving puzzles

- learning something new

- getting stoned/tripping

- good old-fashioned masturbating; this means they can actually do what they like and cum on their own terms, and being blessed with multiple organisms means they can go again whenever without worrying about the husband.

I remember Neelam saying in an interview she didn't want that life hence she had broken up with Bobby Deol. That is as faulty logic as someone choosing to drive a car after they turned 25 coz the study says less than 25-year-old drivers are the reason behind most car accidents.

Star se shaadi karke yeh hua... businessmen se shaadi kar ke bhi wahin hota... aur agar koi professor se bhi shaadi karti toh yahi hota kyun ke "Neelam ka husband" tag lagte hi woh bandar se sundar wala perception mein aa jata aur students ke saath busy rehta.
