I think the character itself is also an issue…the way Kim is written as an obnoxious foreign girl is actually obnoxious…and Maya’s portrayal of the character is also terrible. Baki sab, I like in the show b/c otherwise it’s kind of nice and sober. Just don’t like it enough for me to continuously watch it.

Maya ke acting ko kyaa huwa she always have a straight miserable expression as kim.

Chemistry is the key to 3M views nowadays.

They have the money to hire a good publicist/image consultant etc. She has a close friend in the industry - Maya. They jointly know people in the industry from whom they can seek advice. While I understand where she is coming from as a wife, and the fans are rabid no doubt, I personally don’t feel bad for her at all 🤷‍♀️ There are always two sides of the coin…you want to bask in the glory of fame and the $$$ of stardom, great. But everyone knows that there are negative aspects of that as well. But that’s life. Even us regular folks have to take the bad with the good. They chose this life and they are adults.
