There's literally nothing left to show for season 2. NM herself said that.

Even if it's season 2 it should be a fresh character and fresh story.. Continuation of this story won't work. People have lost interest already and it won't do well..

Better start a fresh than continuing the same story if season 2 is in pipeline..

This does seem like they shot multiple tracks. We didn’t get Saba-Meerab scenes with Meesam in bed after the injury. And Saba waiting in that house’s living room.

But then it also seems like they chose the happy ending track, with Meerab confessing and returning.

If there is S2, then the makers will introduce a character named Paya, who is a paternal cousin of Haya. She comes to take revenge on Meerab and Murtasim. But she falls in love at first sight with Murtasim. The she creates continuous misunderstandings between Meerab and Murtasim. Finally in the last episode which is Episode 78, she will get exposed and there will be happy ending of Meerab and Murtasim.

And also bring in another phupo’s beta, who will secretly like Meerab. MK will say haath pakdaa,,,and Meeru will say HUMARA COUSIN HAI WOHH🤣
