Oh yeah yeah promos are out.
Yeh cringe fest still on air hai 🙀

aye yesterday you were so today my turn

So there actually are proper forums even to discuss the dumbest of Paki soaps!!! And the people commenting here are actually my type - better than those yt comments.
I literally read all of your thoughts on Meesni. I have been following it from 1st ep and the show literally had a great pace at start. Mamia as sahira was amazing being a debutant. In my life, 90% of the dramas I have watched are of HUM. its just that Geo's cinderella vibes dont match my taste. I personally like the low quality sets with low quality dresses and naive actors... it gives a very realistic look tbh.
HUM has this strategy of leaps that it does with most of its soaps; soteli maamta, badnaseeb, maa sadqay and meesni. Leaping actually is better than using the FLASHBACK/SLOW MO strategy to stretch.
As far as meesni is considered, I kinda had an idea of the upcoming story as someone from the team had given me spoilers. I feel like thats how all 7pm soaps are, long and illogical but entertaining. Now in meesni, they keep throwing constant hooks to not lose the viewer ...as they recently added the abortion case of Saliha.
By far its the longest soap of HUM TV in recent times. Otherwise HUM is the channel which ends its shows the earliest.
Due to the SKIP OPTION in youtube, Meesni has been an amazing journey for me, as I could easily skip unwanted and dragged scenes. The way they portrayed SAHIRA from youth to middle age is amazing. A BAD MOTHER exists, which our tv doesnt show often. Plus, I'd say that Mamia as hania is also amazing. That girl changed her styling, dressing and voice, just to differentiate from young sahira's character.
Also, I personally never thought about Raheel-Fatima angle. In fact I dislike the tracks of that whole family of Humaira.
PS: I literally hate ZOYA and RAFAEL and their actors too...

Welcome to the Pakistani Serials Forum. And thank you for sharing your views about this daily soap.IIn this forum we discuss all the Pakistani dramas. You'll find a thread for every drama here.. not a seperate forum. Seperate forums are only for Hindi dramas.😃
I watched Soteli Mamtaa only after the leap. And I enjoyed it. 😃Also watched Beqadar after the leap only. And didn't really like it.
I too find Hum dramas more realistic and relatable. I hope you keep coming to this forum and share your views.
