And this might be my pet obsession speaking so please indulge me - but can y'all give last names to the characters?

Abhay has one but Veronica and Sam don't (yet)

And why does Veronica have a Christian-sounding first name and why is her Uncle named Ashutosh Gupta? Did she have a foreign/ Christian father since Ashutosh is her mom's brother? What was her maiden name before she married Abhay?

Is this fic based in Kolkata?

What is Samarth's qualification? Was he also a Micro student like Abhay?

Abhay joined his family business

Veronica works at TCS (software)

What does Sam do (apart from part-time chauffering?)

Is Sam's granddad still alive?

How did Sam manage to stay out of Veronica's life when she was married to Abhay and he was chauffeuring for the Mehta family? Did he quit then?

Please please someone thresh out these details cos they're mighty important (to me)... 😳

Maybe each time you post your segments, you can follow it up by quoting my posts on the sequence of events and the timeline and add on to it with the salient points in your segment for ease of reference for all authors? So they don't have to go back and re-read to remember all the significant happenings from the previous segments?

Each author quotes the previous author's timeline/event posts & updates it with their own

And WD can update it on the first page if need be.

Answering the ones I have answers to -

In my segment I was planning to use Samarth Malhotra but backed out last minute and kept it Samarth... ppl are free to take it up, or I can go back and add in the surname if you want

Also, Veronica Kapoor sounds good. That's what she is in my mind

Fic was never based anywhere but Simi mentioned St Xavier's College (which I know every city has one but it reminded me of mere sheher wala )

So yeah, after my segment it's now based in Kolkata, you're welcome to make them read Byomkesh Bakshi and have rosogollas anytime

I imagine Abhay and Vero stayed in a different place when they were married? And when Vero left, Abhay went back to his parents' place. That's why he sent the pregnancy reports back through Sam 😅

Also, ajkal Christian names are pretty common. I have a David and Julia in my workplace and none of them have any Christian background, bas their parents liked the name for them

Vero's familial background is whatever we want it to be 😆
