Yesterday or day before, This person posted a video of some people beating other people giving it an enciting flavor (i reported that post and it's still there). While the video itself was correct the context was the retaliation because of the mob violence that took one life amongst many people getting hurt including police. That mob even tried to burn a bus full of passengers but thankfully that was prevented by the presence of mind of the bus driver. But ofcourse this person (Ashok Swain) presented the news in a way that a certain community was being oppressed and even added that "why does the world blame tailban". Seriously? U r defending Taliban now? 🙄

Now this person is claiming i post news from some crappy Hindi local newspaper. 🤦🏻‍♂️ For him Dainik Jagran India's top Hindi newspaper isn't credible enough but a nobody like Ashok Swain is! 🤷🏼‍♂️

Couldn't we just open another thread in DM to discuss politics.

The only thing Modi has to do with Adipurush is that he may have favoured the making...but he definitely doesn't favour the outcome.

That is all he has to do with Adipurush, I think. He likes to be involved in the filmindustry...if he hadn't become a politician because of the RSS taking care of him as a youngster, he may have become an actor...he loves the limelight.

But every other discussion about him and about politics and the atrocious deeds of people, I would like to discuss elsewhere...this is not the place to talk about certain tweeter/YouTuber whose opinions might be as questionable as other opinions.

There obviously is a need to talk about certain issues as they surface again & again in inappropriate threads (I'm also responsible for that).

Good human beings never make good or successful politicians. The sooner we realise truth the better.

I have stopped living in idealism and bookish world. Reality is harsh and bitter.

Even if Modi does give a presser they may invite sycophants like Arnab, Sudhir, Anjana, Sweta, Navika etc.

So what is the use?

Modi is master of keeping perfect image and is a shrewd, wily politician.

Same as Indira and Nehru, PVNR etc were at some point.

Political power has nothing to do with morality or being nice or sweet human being.

Today i saw a tweet with a small video clip of Adipurush but didn't post as i knew it would be deleted very soon. And within minutes it was. They are so fast 👏😆

Anyways the video was about Lakshman ji asking questions to Hanuman ji to test his knowledge and intelligence.

While originally Shri Ram ji praised Hanuman ji's intelligence saying something like he's a scholar of 4 Vedas but in Adipurush Lakshman ji tests Hanuman ji's knowledge/intelligence using WhatsApp jokes. One question, for ex - if a person hasn't slept for 3 days how's he still going on. Answer by Hanumanji - he sleeps at night. 😆 and on top of that Hanuman ji's expressions

Exactly my thinking...but as politics are made by human beings, it has a looooot to do with the character of the respective human being. And the character is about genes and influences.

I vehemently dislike politics but one have to understand them to not fall prey to the constant trying to manipulate opinions.

I also think that there are people determined to make Adipurush a success...

No idea...maybe, maybe not. What is the importance? The love for SRK and Salman (and also for John and Deepika and Dimple and Rana) was genuine.

Personally, I liked the movie very much (especially because of all the Easter-eggs and its human/humanitarian touch), but I stress again that numbers are not important to me (I'm not in the business).

In addition, Pathaan generated a lot of positivity...I don't see that with Adipurush...

I have never believed Pathaan or Brahmastra figures are entirely that genuine.

For that matter I was quite surprised and taken aback seeing figures for Kantara and KGF too. Especially Kantara as the actor is hardly known in North nor has charisma or dance skills like Yash or Allu Arjun or Prabhas.

Somehow I feel most figures of films released post COVID are pumped up, exaggerated.

Whether it was South films or BW ones.
