Yes very true.

Aamir Khan once told in an interview that all filmmakers should agree to release their movies on OTT after 2 months or so, so that ppl will watch n theatre.

But the issue with this is that if the movie doesn't do well, they won't get good price on OTT.

So everyone sells it before it released in theatre.

Why would even bother to release it on OTT before a theatrical release??? OTT releases make it easier for people to watch it online for free or on IPTV. Literally who's gonna watch it in theaters?? Why do you think Marvel releases projects on Disney+ 6 months to a year later? It's honestly just bad business, it annoys me so much.

Not actual release, just sell the rights before the theatrical release.
