Yeah Haya is pure evil but I don’t think anyone knows that she knew everything from the very beginning. I honestly thought she would anonymously send the video because showing it would make her just as guilty. She got out of it really easily by telling MB that they had all made her the bad guy and wouldn’t believe her anyway. It isn’t just Murtasim that has let Haya off the hook on matters, Mariam hasn’t shared anything about Haya with anyone, Nouraiz came and told MB and Murtasim off but didn’t out Haya. Meerab never shared the details of Haya’s plotting with Waqas who also didn’t bother asking why Haya took the video and didn’t bother informing anyone on the elopement. He schooled everyone except her. She keeps getting away with things so she can be around until the very end, especially during this separation so she can have alone time with Murtasim. This happens on shows sometimes where the evil person keeps getting away with things so they can be around until the end and cause as much damage as possible.

But Murtasim not questioning Haya definitely damaged his character to some extent. I understand Haya is needed for the story to move but her staying in the haveli has happened at the cost of Murtasim. I particularly mentioned him because the writer and the director's main focus was to show Murtasim as the best character. He knew Haya knows MZ and it is clear that Haya took the video at the time when Mariyam was leaving haveli. I get that he was heart-broken at that moment that's why he didn't question her. But didn't these things ever cross his mind? Even after knowing about MZ why didn't she stop Mariyam and tell her the truth? Why didn't she immediately show the video and wait to show it? He didn't even wait until the morning to leave Meerab, he left her at midnight. But what action did he take regarding Haya? Nothing.
