Yes, she defended Meerab in fuchsia interview. She explained Meerab's point of view regarding contract, walima dance and also panchayat scene. Her point of view was not presented well in the drama. I don't know if it is the writing fault or direction fault. But in Maliha's interview, when Maliha asked about why Haya was not questioned seriously regarding Mariyam's elopement then she said Meerab ne tho lamba khel khela na. What lamba khel khela Meerab ne? Lamba khel tho Haya ne khela. Haya knew about MZ from the restaurant but she played a game and didn't tell the truth about MZ at the right time.

Meerab is a relatable character. But she was not written and directed well. There are places where Meerab could have been highlighted but the writer didn't give the chance to her for eg. in Izzat k badle izzat matter. My problem is that the writer and the director didn't give opportunity to Meerab's character to shine.
