God only knows if Gaurav did it to irritate Pradyut and get back at Taaruni, but the following week he had two run ins with Pradyut

They didn’t come to blows, but Gaurav had ended up saying some things completely uncomplimentary about builders and how most high profile builders in India are connected to crimes and money laundering

After much prodding Sumedha had shared with Taaruni

She was ashamed to the core he was doing this

Pradyut kept his cool at home though, just enjoying seeing her again in the evening, and flirting with her and going out to dinners with friends. She now knew all his friends and their spouses

She was sure not many knew Pradyut and her were trying best each other in the background

That was their little secret

Everymorning after shower she measured her waist, 9ish days after she returned from Chandigarh with the news, her waist size went up by an INCH

Her face was visibly fuller when she compared her selfies from a month or two ago

When she was at work she didn’t think about being pregnant, she wore swing dresses and oversized blouses with tights, to mask her growing belly

Between trying to convince her mother to drill some sense into Gaurav, remotely monitoring the store operations and working with Anuj Thapar and going off to throw up every few hours, she was completely drained by 7 PM

He usually found her asleep in bed when he returned from work

His favorite way of waking her up was going to get tricky soon.

“I am going away to Vienna next week” he gathered her in his arms and gently tucked her hair behind her ear

Gaurav showed up the next couple days before Pradyut returned from work

2nd day she called her mother she didn’t answer

She told him to leave and walked out
