Carisma, for the first part of your post, I truly believe that if Muslim community themselves learn about the true meaning of different terms and verses then many of the things happening will stop happening and no one would need to point their fingers at one specific community.

For ex. Zakir Naik is considered a very knowledgeable person about Quran. His talks had MASSIVE gatherings. Even his videos are still used for facilitating conversions but just see what he says about the verse 9:5 of Quran. If followers of Islam are going to learn that meaning then definitely they are going to do wrong. But the worst part is- Zakir Naik is not alone. There are many many more like him.

I believe that the responsibility of imparting correct knowledge of Islam to its followers lies on the muslim community itself. Unless Muslims themselves don't follow the correct and true meaning of Islam it won't be much use of teaching other communities the true meaning of Islam or its verses or terms.

As they say - Action speaks louder than words.

Regarding the 2nd part of your post

  1. Almost everyday. I'll post today's news in the next post.
  2. Some places more than others.
  3. There's 'ghar wapasi' (coming back to their previous religion) of the converted too.
  4. I think, after TKS, this has started but still at the family level. Parents are becoming aware.
  5. I don't think so.
  6. Not that I know of.
  7. Ignorance is bliss but that bliss can land you in trouble later. Better to be aware of the ways of the world to protect yourself and your loved ones. That's the way to go. Plus imparting knowledge about your own religion from childhood is also absolutely necessary. So that children can know the answers of atleast basic questions asked to them by children/ people of other religion. If parents are themselves ignorant what will they teach their children!

P.s. it's nice that we can talk in a civilized manner regarding too but I'm sure this post of mine will be reported too. Anyways jisko jo karna hai kare. 😔

To be honest, This post shouldn't be reported. Hopefully. Though recently I made a post here about Vijay wanting a dead forum, and it got removed. So.. Never know.

Thanks for answering the questions. Geographically I was lost - whether it was all happening in one area.

Now a days, You can barely teach kids anything. Freedom of will and feminism has gone extreme. The youth do not respect their own privacy, It's all Insta posts, U tube and Tik Toks and stuff. If you say anything, then Naari morcha grp start on - we can do what we want. They don't understand that ideally yes, but the world is not a safe place. Everyone has to take precaution.

Educating people - regarding this, will mean a type of self defence.

I agree, with what you said. @ Green The Muslim community and any community has a responsibility in instilling the right values and teachings. Sometimes they receive that, yet they still learn this way. I attended Mosque for many years when I was young I only learn't good things. Not everyone, everywhere is able to get the same religious knowledge unfortunately. This is why, when I get material I am discussing. I try and put in the correct information in there too - It's for everyone to understand. As there are many young people reading posts we all write and may learn something too.

It's not even that straight forward. Sometimes they know and get brainwashed over the net or the company. The worst part is - What they show, they are doing bad deeds and using it with Gods name. We can see this as wrong, but not everyone can.

Certain grps carrying out the activities know they are doing wrong. Like anyone knows it's wrong to rape, or human trafficking is wrong, they know this is not what religion taught. U know what I'm trying to say right? Without saying it loud.

See When kids go to Mosque - they are only taught to learn verses in Arabic - and some histories. No one translates the Quran to them. That happens - if they go in for further education in Islamic studies. They only learn to most of the time Read the Quran in Arabic.

Look at the rape rates in India. It's high. Everyone of all faiths are contributing to that number. Each one knows they are wrong. But still doing it.

Can you please send me the link to Z. Naiks Video - that you were mentioning please.

And How did day 4? Day 4 go. U feeling much better now and adjusting on your quest.

Carisma, over the time I have interacted with you I have come to feel that your intentions are right. So I believe u when u say about the correct meaning of certain things. But in India, at least, in Madarsas, mosques and through moulavis etc a more literal meaning of the verses are being taught and propagated. Now you will ask how do I know?. It's because over the last few years i have seen uncountable videos of such teachings. If people are getting such teachings then obviously they will act likewise. Regarding that zakir naik video, i will dm you that.

Regarding my quit smoking movement, it has been surprisingly easy. Doing exercise and singing practice has really helped. Infact i think i will be able to record tere jaisa yaar kaha today. It's a tough one so don't expect professional level singing from me. Bas theek thak sa ga paunga 😆

Another killing in UP's jungle raj: Mukhtar Ansari's gang member shot dead in Lucknow court

LUCKNOW: Jailed gangster-politician Mukhtar Ansari's aide Sanjeev Maheshwari alias Sanjeev Jeeva was shot dead in police custody by unknown assailants on the premises of a court in Lucknow on Wednesday.

Jeeva, who is serving a life imprisonment in Barabanki jail, was shot dead by unknown assailants dressed as lawyers. The incident took place when he brought to the court for a hearing on an attempt to murder case from 2015.

As per the eyewitnesses, four assailants fired around five to 6 rounds at Jeeva during which an 18-month-old baby girl on her mother’s lap and a police constable sustained injury from stray bullets fired during the assassination bid.

“During the shootout, an 18-month infant, Laxmi, accompanying her parents and a police constable suffered bullet injuries. Their condition was stated to be stable,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Aparna Rajat Kaushik.

'People are not safe anywhere in UP'

Meanwhile, opposition parties have hit out at the government over Wednesday's incident. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav at a press conference here in the evening said that the law and order situation in the state has worsened.

"It seems that the BJP government has given a free hand to criminals who kill whomever they want, wherever they want. Murders are happening in police custody, police station and court. People are not safe anywhere in Uttar Pradesh," said the former chief minister.

Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati tweeted in Hindi, "The sensational shooting that resulted in a murder inside the Lucknow court premises is a big challenge for the government in terms of law and order and crime control in UP. There is panic among the public due to such incidents. Government should take strict steps, this is the demand of BSP."

Killings outside courtrooms

Jeeva's killing is just one of many such incidents to take place outside a courtroom in the state. Here's a list of prominent Court killings in Uttar Pradesh since 2015

May 16, 2023: Two men accused of murder were shot at by two assailants when they were brought to a court in Jaunpur.

Aug 17, 2022: A murder accused, serving a prison term in Faridabad jail in connection with another case, was shot dead by three men on motorbikes outside the gate of the Hapur district court.

Dec 17, 2019: A man accused of a double murder was shot dead inside a courtroom in Bijnor when court proceedings were underway.

June 13 2019: Chairperson of the UP Bar Council Darvesh Kumari Yadav (36) was shot dead by a colleague in her chamber on the court premises in Agra.

Feb 16, 2015: A boy entered a Muzaffarnagar courtroom and opened fire on an under-trial in front of a district judge.
