I was just talking to a friend some days ago as to why this is called Love Jihad. It should be called Love Inducement. So that it is better understood or even Love Entrapment.
Jihad, is a different word, with a different meaning altogether. Basically 'a struggle or fight against the enemies of Islam'.
The Hindu sisters are not an enemy of Islam and neither are the Sikh sisters or Christian sisters.
To explore the word Jihad in more details.
'Jihad” literally means striving, or doing one’s utmost. Within Islam, there are two basic theological understandings of the word: The “Greater Jihad” is the struggle against the lower self – the struggle to purify one’s heart, do good, avoid evil and make oneself a better person. The “Lesser Jihad” is an outward struggle. Jihad constitutes a moral principle to struggle against any obstacle that stands in the way of the good. Bearing, delivering and raising a child, for example, is an example of outward jihad, because of the many obstacles that must be overcome to deliver and raise the child successfully. Jihad may also involve fighting against oppressors and aggressors who commit injustice. It is not “holy war” in the way a crusade would be considered a holy war, and while Islam allows and even encourages proselytizing, it forbids forced conversion. In Islamic tradition, the form of jihad that involves fighting requires specific ethical conditions under which it is permissible to fight, as well as clear rules of engagement such as the requirement to protect non-combatants. Scholars have compared Jihad that involves fighting to the Christian concept of “just war.'
As for these people hiding their faith and lying
Taqiyya is an Arabic word that means to hide your faith in times of persecution in order to protect your life and family. It does not allow one to deceive and lie. Muslims are allowed to practice Taqiyya when open declaration of their faith leads to death and torture.
A similar teaching can be found in Judaism: Maimonides, one of the great Jewish Torah scholars, taught that one is allowed to lie about one’s religion in order to save one’s life, and many Jews who were forcibly baptized in medieval Christian Europe engaged in the same kind of practice to protect their lives and remain committed to their faith. Given the very restricted contexts in which such behaviour is allowed in both religions, it would be wrong to accuse Islam or Judaism of actively encouraging believers to deceive others.
So unless it's under these circumstances, they are not allowed to conceal their faith.
So what these guys are doing is a major sin within their own faith. That is not a true Muslim or proper faith practising Muslim. This is far far away from any religious action. They are just a bunch of miserable, evil and pathetic people.
They are criminals and should be identified according to their sins and deeds and not from their ethnic background or identified by their faith.
Not only do these people cause issues for other races and communities but disgrace for 'Muslims' community because of how they are identified and it poses a negative reflection on faith instead.
A bit like when kids who are naughty get asked, 'Kaun si school jaathe ho? Kiya school mein yahi sikha they hain?'.
It is NOT the school teaching them this, The problem is with the child itself, or has not being properly educated on things for x,y,z, reasons.
The above is just my random thoughts and explanations. Just mental notes.
I genuinely want to understand something NK. Three days in a row - there have been 3 cases that I have seen, that you have shown us.
1. Is this happening everyday?
2. Is this happening in a certain part of India or everywhere equally?
3. Is the persuasion to convert pressure only one side - Hindu to Muslim or Muslim to Hindu as well?
4. Are the minors in the certain areas being educated within community groups and meetings, Or residential area meeting about these dangers?
5. Are schools educating them, colleges and Uni's about internet safety?
6. Has Prime Minister, taken action to put in some funding to help eliminate this issue.
7. Any ides you want to share, Anything you have done to help minors stay safe?
