To start I am not trying to change any narrative but this is what I think.
Rohail definitely called him to taunt about contract thing and they had a fight that night before consummation.
So he has two reasons to believe why she left
1. The lesser devil , Rohail called and cried saying MK got him beaten up and she went to meet her friend and is either kidnapped by him or she is angry with MK for this stunt of his .
—He is desperately clinging to this as this gives him hope and he is sure he will be able to convince her to come back!
2. The unforgivable - He said something before act and him leaving her made her feel insecure , abandoned and humiliated. All three enuf for Mee self respect to be wounded and he knows very well when it comes to her self respect she is uncompromising !
— He knows this is reason and this means she will not come back!
The more delay in finding Rohail is confirming his worst fear that case 2 is reason and so the fear, self blame , guilt , helplessness everything is coming up !
