Meerab and Murtasim are in white as protagonists of the story. Ma Begum in black she is the antagonist.
Meerab has a soft sad smile on her face, she has accepted her fate to be bound to Murtasim forever. He looks serious, threatening and in charge as head of the family.
Meerub is sitting like a queen, her body language is upright and regal. Murtasim is slightly slouched towards her, it is not a pose of a king but more of a husband her loyal protector. She is in a more elaborate dress to show her status as queen, but Murtasim is dressed more modestly as her guard prince.
Meerab is represented by the white chaddar, she is his izzat, respect, pride and joy. The chaddar not only showcases his dignity, but as he proudly drapes it on his shoulders he elevates her above him.
Murtasim is holding Meerab's shoulder in a claw like grasp, he has a firm grip on her and his other hand is grasping her arm she cannot escape his world. Visually It is does not look like a gentle touch of love, he has secured her under his power. His angry stare down and hold on her screams she is mine only and I dare anyone to take her away from me or harm her while I draw breath.
The hand that fires a gun is calloused, there is a band aid on his finger. He is grasping her with the calloused hand that fires the weapon, violence will be part of their relationship and he will need it to keep her safe and tied to him forever for better or for worst. Murtasim is leaning more towards his wife than his mother as he is Meerub's shield, she is his priority and his world.
The ultimate power between the trio is queen Meerub, she comes in as prisoner and walks away with everything.
Disclaimer- I know the band aid is real life knife injury to Wahaj's fingers, art is open to many interpretations once it is in the public domain, and even an accident can create magic.
