Nothing against staying quiet...or using humour ... 😊

Giving it back the same way (if it's a negative one) or even to go one 'better' is just supporting a spiraling negativity - always rather having contra-productive effects, imo (for a genuine discussion anyways) ...

Maroon is male, Tanya...and as I guess that he doesn't work as a model/actor/callboy, he certainly means the face 😉

Can find same news on publications who r supposedly not sold out to the ruling party.

Still some people miss the good ??? old days when every single news item coming in print and Doordarshan was censored..and when it came to a point when news couldn't be censored we know what came in

Omg! This is one of the sweetest things someone has ever said to me on this forum. Thank you soooo much 🤗

I know some people will never see my point but like you also mentioned in some post of yours.... I'm doing this because, apart from the active members, there many more non members who also visit the forum and read these posts.

Countering the misinformation spread in this forum is very necessary. Now since mods are saying political and religious posts are not allowed after a limit ( don't know what that unspecified limit is) I will start reporting those political and religious posts since countering their misinformation & hate with my tweets is getting me WL now. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Mods are asking me to post articles or news from legitimate press. But the thing is - If legitimate press & mainstream media was reporting every news and incident before it became national outrage why would i need to visit Twitter for latest news?

I visit Twitter only because Twitter has a very free speach policy. Even general public can record & share news and videos of incidents happening around them which never get shared in legitimate press otherwise. But does that make those incidents fake? Well yes sometimes. However I take great care to post only those tweets that were posted by sources that i rely upon and are well trusted for providing genuine information.. Not "any chintu mintu twitter account" as one member accused me of couple of days back when i shared the news of that Delhi incident where the girl was stabbed 30 times and then her face crushed with a rock.

You see, the real problem is me countering their one sided propaganda with another side of the story which they can't tolerate. They want monopoly on information warfare.

But I'll still try to strive for as long as I can and counter their agenda with the information i find.

Thank u once again for ur kind words 👍👍

And the spirit that made e.g. the British Empire do what they did in the way they did it, still is prevalent equally. So, I won't watch a documentary made in UK about India...I just don't need it.

As for the SC aquitting Modi...that is another story...

an average young Brit today is perhaps apologetic about what happened….frankly they are too busy abusing the Tories and the state UK is in after Brexit to care about history 😆the older ones do think they did a favour on Indians by ‘civilising’ us 🤪 while Rishi has in the Parliament discarded discussions on the documentary..but the truth remains that a country who indulged in divide and rule politics before to rule over India..chooses to talk about our Anti-Sikh riots in 1984 and now 2002 riots..instead of talking about why India has cruised past UK as the 5th largest economy..that should have been the primary concern for them IMO😆

See Clochette, even if i believe in giving back in a greater measure I still maintain a certain decorum. I always try not be vulgar or attack members' parents or family members. Even when I and Slowlydrifting were attacked in the most vulgar and vile way possible, we still didn't cross that line and yet managed to give that mid back in a befitting manner.

Thanks for answering, Max (won't comment because of lacking knowledge) 😊

Natkhat, I'm a bit sceptical about the source TOI quotes as Morgan Stanley is an American multinational investment bank and financial service company with obvious interests in India.

I won't deny the technical achievements in a time where technical progress is pertinent and even better some of people's lives.

I also respect those who want to show their own side of the coin....still also looking at the sources and the reason behind the posting.

So, no, I'm not impressed about a report from a super bank that has its own financial interests in India. In any way, I would think that they could be biased (is the report available to read?).

I, and I'm sure many others, are perfectly okay with u being skeptical or not agreeing with our side of the story. The problem arises only when one side claims absolute monopoly on being the only side with the only true perspective and starts attacking the other side for not tip toeing their line or having a difference of opinion.
