So now we are going to argue over the greatness of the freedom fighters who got us our freedom by qualifying the kind of jails they got to go to? *slow claps*
No. But there is a reason some were handled with kid gloves and some were not.
Every freedom fighter deserves utmost respect for their contribution to the freedom struggle.
I abhor Gandhi's weird ways and feel he really set back the struggle by a couple of decades in his attempt to become a Mahatma but cannot deny that there was some X factor in him that he could garner the support of people across the spectrum.
Having said that he has been given too much limelight in the freedom struggle of India.
Indian freedom was achieved by a bunch of players contributing in different ways.
The role revolutionaries has been sidelined in the deification of Gandhi and the non violent movement.
In an ideal dreamland things like non violence work against violence not in real life.
For some reason it is hard for people to accept that basic fact.

Slow caps if u think capturing freedom fighters in different jails doesn't matter.
Whoever the British found problematic for them was sent to Cellular jail and other jails but others were captured where they can even write a book.
Need to really read the history to know why there were differences in the treatment of real freedom fighters and others.
Again I am in no support of Savarkar as I don't know much about him, but have seen and read what happened in Cellular Jail and how it is and also saw the drastic difference between the jail where Gandhi and Nehru were captured.

India's GDP data released today is better than expected for the year gone by and the year to come👏 so much so that even Washington Post wrote a positive article on India😲😆
How is that the ones endorsing Savarkar's ideology be it first Vajpayeejee and now Modijee are able to drive India towards achieving eventually its ultimate goal of being a developed country and an emerging superpower..😉😆 Desh ko aagey badhaane ke liye, neeyat zaroori hoti hai..when the intent is genuine, growth is certain. But Justice gang will only keep fuelling the hate politics instead of appreciating what India is achieving now 😆
meanwhile, some gyaan by our respected PM - Vajpayee on Savarkar:
🥳 Bharat my lovely Bharat d super power 🇮🇳 Vandemataram , Bharat mata ki jai , jai hind .

Celebrations 🥳
how is Savarkar and Gandhi being spoken on same line when one fought using violence and another for non violence...
British empire treated violent protestors by directly throwing in jail or hanging them...they could not do that same to ppl who are peacefully protesting ..*not a rocket science*
Savarkar and Jinnah were same.....one went to Jail and came back as Hindutva leader and another went to England and came back as Muslim league leader.. they both had no issue about hindu muslim unity before that...
