How is pradhyumnan related to samrat?

When Nayan accused Samrat of killing her parents and left without telling him, all iyers(nayan family) and aliya and prem too leave him accusing him of nayan death too and go off leaving him alone

Than Samrat is depressed and drinking and broken as all leave him and gone family, friends, relatives etc hes all alone than pradhyuman daddy bring him to his home and take care of samrat whose alone and broken. Pradhyuman is small kid and Samrat depression goes off playing and spending time taking care of pradhyuman as small kid and from that day Samrat thinks Pradhyuman is his son and he makes Pradhyuman in charge of his business and property etc

You can think pradhyuman is like foster son or adopted son of samrat like mahima is for nayan

pradhyuman dad said hes samrat friend

how i am not sure but he says his wife died and he and pradhyuman are alone like samrat is alone without any family so he says come with me and from now on pradhyuman is your son too

i guess samrat was not in india for 20 years so he stay in london with pradhyuman dad only and do business too with him only as partner

thats why samrat says pradhyuman he will send him back to his dad abroad if he do not stop running after mahima

i guess samrat stays with pradhyuman and his dad so far
