Janbaaz which did not work well at Indian box office but was more popular on video circuit in the 80s

Superb music and that sreedevi part were the highlight

But the drugs issue intimate scenes might not have gone well with Indian Audience

Dayavan another one from feroz khan was also not that working on the box office

It was remake of kamal hasan movie nakayan

Music was good madhuri and vinod song aaj phir tumpe and chahe meri jaan tu lele were popular

Vinod khanna feroz khan acted well

These are all hits. When did they flop?

Jaanbaaz and Dayavan are too chippad for Indian audience and families even today.

The intimate scenes, references towards drugs, showing druggies, hero or heroine openly taking drugs, explicit lanfuage, showing brothels were too much for 80s audience.

Last 2 movies didn’t flop, but deserved much much more than it did.

Lots of movies lately which I feel deserve more recognition, latest being Kathal. 🥳

Janbaaz was stylish movie feroz khan in those cow boy hats rekha wala gilli gilli sridevi har kisi ko nahi milta and her whole scene of getting injected with drugs and the way she perform uff till today it's worth watching
