He wrote off Anushka and Ranveer too when he heard that they were cast for Band Baja Baraat. Why the heck does he write off people even before he sees their work? Hope he wised up at least now after all these years.

Karan is an extremely superficial person and most likely judges everyone based on their looks. He’s actually admitted that he’s told Adi Chopra that neither Ranveer nor Anushka were good looking enough for lead roles. My guess is he’s had the same thought about SRK at that first meeting.

I’m confident that several star kids that he loves today would have completely been dismissed by him because of their looks if they weren’t industry kids.

+1, while I love him for unfathomable reasons, I totally do agree that he judges everyone based off their looks which makes sense to me only till a limited extent. They’re ACTORS. And most of them don’t know how to act!! 😆😆 What good are stunning faces with no talent! Sigh if only KJo understood this.

The way he dissed poor RS & Anushka was totally uncalled for. He’s even admitted to trying to sabotage Anushka’s career!!!

But for all his “I hate outsiders” stance, he someone manages to become deeply close to outsiders… Like I am sure he can’t imagine life without SRK today & Gauri today. And he seems to love SidMal.

Well, there was that incident of liking an anti SRK tweet a few years ago that caused all sorts of drama on twitter until SRK finally came out to his defense and said Karan just has fat fingers 😆

I don’t think Sid is his favorite or anything, but ever since Shershah he’s been very honest and open about how it was Sid who brought the movie to him and how it’s garnered Dharma a lot of respect for having made it. I know that’s business but someone like him doesn’t really need to give credit if he doesn’t want to, specially to someone like Sidharth Malhotra.
