They sealed the deal with picnic track. That was the clear final nail in the coffin. They didn't even give justification of those scenes. His interaction & body language, behaviour with P during the whole picnic track was like he's fallen for her, it was same as how he was with Sai. The only difference between VC - Sai is. Virat treated Pakhi like a queen & Sai like a garbage during Virakhi phase whereas Sai is being cold on even days & acting like this on odd days and having showing empathy care for DCP when back then he was being cruel of the highest order towards Sai.
