They are strict and all but see the show has actually shown their generation to be progressive in the sense growth! Unke paas itna scope tha... And so has Naira ka generation has presented growth in their way of lives and everything...

That's what makes these old shows bearable...

I am not saying Suraj and Naitik kinda characters are all ITv should have... But even angry young mein we did have Raman Bhalla, who was shown to be thoda tipsy...
