We will have a clear understanding in upcoming episodes.

In the interview, the writer told that 'Jab mohabbat hothi hai na insaan ko phir insaan har cheez maaf kartha hai. Agar aapki mohabbat mai itni wasiyat na ho mohabbat tho kisi kaam ki nahi hai na. Aapki mohabbat mai itni ho ki apne phir har zulm maaf karn dena hai.' I feel that Meerab will forgive Murtasim because she will realize her love for him and in love people forgive the person they love.

Rape should not be used as a marketing gimmick or as a mystery box element to drive the plot forward in a show that will not address rape as a serious crime but is used as a punch line. By doing so a man or a woman is falsely accused of rape and that is not a joke, and you make mockery of the crime itself with this 'did it happen' or 'did it not happen' attitude as if we are on an easter egg hunt this is not a bloody game show.

Rape is a crime that just cannot be latched on to any man or a woman as a story telling device. Psychology of a rapist is damaged psychosis, you have to be a certain type of individual to commit this crime, it is not about sex it is about power. And by just making any man or a woman a rapist you are saying there is a rapist in every house, as if anybody can commit such a heinous crime that is dangerous.

If a drama is about rape it should be taken seriously, audiences should know before hand, there should be trigger warnings so people can make up their minds on to watch or not. People have a right to decide what content they want to see, we signed up for romance as the show is ending you can't suddenly change the genre to horror, excuse me do I look like a fool to you. In a drama where there is rape there should be serious consequences for the crime, perpetrators punished, victim should be given justice, redemption not possible.

Female actors should not act like rape victims on screen if their characters were not raped, by doing so they trivialize the trauma of real victims whose real pain will not be taken seriously. Don't act like a victim and 4 episodes later go ooopssss sorry nothing happened I was just trying to win some awards WTF.

THIS. 100 PERCENT. EVERY WORD.

Marital rape is a serious problem in Pakistan.

In studies I have seen, and which usually are limited to large urban centers where the population is more educated, 33%-47% of married women say they have been coerced into non consensual sex by their spouse.

MR was made a criminal offense under Section 375 of Pakistan Penal Code in 2006 but so far only one case has been prosecuted under this law. Reporting and prosecution on MR is a huge challenge even if the law exists.

If you want to make a drama on MR, then make a serious one. Where a city girl Merub gets into a forced marriage to this feudal lord Murtasim. She is not ready to have marital relations. They argue and he rapes her instead. Merub and her lawyer foster dad then fight a legal battle to get justice for Merub and prosecute her husband. But in doing so, they also have to battle social perceptions, the feudal system, police apathy, etc. Make that social drama to raise awareness of MR and the law criminalizing it, and I will watch.

I don't think they have changed the story , I think it was shot like that only , only they were keeping Mr angle as hook and would have revelaed in later episodes that it was mutual but due to backlash they have changed it.

Also if it was Mr, mk would be guilty will finding her but in bts he does not look so.

If it isn't MR then they should show what happened after door closing in upcoming episodes.

Tu ye mohabbat maa baap se nahi thi?

Kuch bhi bakwas karte hai NM.

What was the point to show MR at first place? What was the msg ? That every guy no matter how nice he shows is hiding a rapist inside himself? Or the msg was that woman should not provoke men?

Matlab except to create shock element. What was the purpose to show MR?

I am not taking a word that psycho is going to or have already said. She is sick and a liar.

They have nothing to show. It wasn't shot. They'd have to shoot that

They showed no flashback of anas meeting Maryam. So I don't think they have anything for this.

Lazy editing

I think it is MR. Aamna said that if we mute the sound and watch only the scenes then we will understand it.

Bhi MR hi tha they covered it now.Per MR ka purpose samijh nahi aya ?? + why the hell murtasim is not feeling guilty? Except that mirror breaking, he is not looking guilty. So u r telling me that the guy who thought that he accidentally hurt his wife with mobile apologised and looked guilty but he is OK with raping his wife 😆.

Matlab koi sense ban raha hai 😡

Yeah .......I was convinced it is MR in Epi 46 but 47 made me very very confused.. Murtasim's reaction didn't make sense to me.

As Rabia said, they should stop airing TB for a month, re-shoot and come back. I will wait for a month or even two if this what is required to get our old M & M back.
