The acting and dialogues do sound and look cringey at times but I feel some actors are truly putting their efforts irrespective of anything.

I have 3 actors who I feel are doing good -

⭐️ Gashmeer as Armaan (he brings a lot to the table, given the dialogues and script, he does put in his best.)

Rrahul as Sikander (I do have a soft spot for Klaus)

Vaishnavi as Mehek (among the female cast, she is the only one whose acting I enjoy watching. Pity coz she hardly gets any screen time)

Others range from average to bad (with a few moments to shine). I am disappointed in Nalini - her acting needs major improvement (Caroline is my fav character but here Cherry is just so *dumb-ish* and is unconscious most of the time).

but mostly I don’t enjoy Karan as Veer and Reem as Kavya.

Looking forward to your favs and less favs.

I have been really liking Karan as Veer. The character is enjoyable and shows so many variations. His dialogs are witty. He is able to show the shades of Veer's thoughts through acting.

I liked Mehak too but she is suddenly cut off from the screen space. Sikandar is fine with acting variations but his character is now becoming monotonous.

Gashmeer and Reem have failed to impress me yet. Infact, they both irritate me a lot of times, mostly due to repetitiveness in their scenes or being shown as mahaan people of itv.

I liked Krip as Daksh though we saw him only a few times.

KK as Veer is good too.

Gashmeer, Reem, Rrahul and the rest are boring both acting wise and the characters too.

The Mikaelsons came as a fresh air in TVD. Here the Rajvanshis are making the show boring. 😆

Till now the only character which hooked me to the show is Veer. He is enjoyable to watch. I like Tina also(although she appeared for a very short time) & Mehek. From last few episodes start liking Arman's part.

The girl as Tina is good. I have never seen her work before but I like her. Also the girl who acted as Sara or Isha's bro are also good as new comer.

From experienced actors I think Ghasmeer is trying his best. I saw his work in Imli and JDJ too. This guy is a very good actor. Specially he gives his version to the character Arman.

Rest are really boring.

I like both the acting of Oberoi siblings Veer and Armaan.Armaan continues to be this calm and composed character whereas Veer continues to be this dark witty and smart cracking wise jokes no pun intended on enemies like Sikander or allies/love interest like Kavya or Eisha.

But the character I enjoy watching the most now is Rrahul as Sikander.I have seen his acting as Vansh Raisinghania before in IMMJ Season 2.His character Vansh had the same impact like Sikander has today but the CV's made his character into a Dumbo who got fooled by the actions of mere villains or vamps like Kabir or Anu.

Vansh should have been ruthless as a Mafia yet he never showed that Ruthlesness towards his adversaries whereas Sikander(some might say he's a Desi Klaus) is not fooled by the mere antics of allies or enemies.Rrahul's character Sikander is somewhat different from this Klaus character. He's calm composed methodical and wouldn't hesitate to either betray or hurt ally or an enemy if it serves his ulterior purpose.

In short Sikander is what Vansh should have been.Yes his actions are condemnable hurting innocent souls like Eisha's aunt Malini or killing his own siblings like Raima and Daksh but the way Rrahul has put his efforts into that character portraying that negative shade has been flawless.

Sikander might have redeemed like Klaus had the show not gone off air. He's the total package of being this Methodical Mastermind.Sikander's enemies or even allies don't know what's he's thinking right at any moment. In short his actions are totally unpredictable but has perfect reason behind it.

Vansh never found out Ridzi's identity as some sort of a Spy inspite of having suspicion but Sikander has kept Armaan at arm's length constantly keeping a watch on Armaan by his mere presence yet when he's not present on the scene.

Hope to see the show get an extension so that we can explore more shades of Sikander's complex character. His actions are no doubt negative but I dont see Cherry as the match for Sikander here.

Mehak's character does not get much screen time but she's the perfect match for a grey character like Sikander.Rather than pairing her up with Eisha's sibling she should have been shown as the light of Sikander's darkness who bought him into the shades of light.

Mehak could have been the Ridzi for Sikander. Her calmness would have balanced Sikander's coldness towards life.Had Mehak been successful in changing Sikander his love for her would have been obsessive and true.

Perhaps Sikander might have changed like Vansh did for Ridzi but his character would have retained that basic core of being this grey shader with a hint of evil sprinkled within it.

Agreed.

Damon's character is far more layered than anyone's (till the TOs enter at least). Coupled with Ian's distinct acting and looks, no wonder it's a fan fav. but in my mind, I subconsciously compare it with Karan and probably that's why i cant seem to like Karan's performance. I keep thinking how Gashmeer would have done wonders with it. Moreso coz Armaan is very similar/exact copy of Stefan yet he has been able to bring his own style into it.

yeah that's there. I still am hoping for a desi Klaroline endgame.

Eisha is gonna become more and more annoying, hypocritical as the show progresses 😆 that's how Elena was.

I do like SIkander and hope they have time to explore him more. Krip did have his moments. If given more screen time and coherent plot he'd have even better moments. Probably the disconnect is due to writers trying to mix TVD and their own ideas resulting in confusing plotlines and acting.

With Karan, I think he tries to copy Ian's acting style especially how Ian's Damon didnt really care much about anyone but Elena. Even though I dont like Delena, I could see where Damon (and Ian) came from.

Here I feel Karan shows this by having a"bored" look on his face. And the way he sighs and looks here and there. IDK how else to describe it.

Ian's Damon and Nina's Katherine were 2 characters which depends a lot on how the actor's act. And they aced it esp Nina. So Karan's Veer and Reem's Kavya (esp) come across as below average to me.
