Ayesha played Sai so convincingly that sometimes, they seem one and the same as their personalities blur now and then šš
Sai came into my life during lockdown right around the 180 ish episode when Virat was in the hospital after he got shot.
I accidentally bumped into the show as I was bored and got instantly hooked.
Sai and her spunk became my USP to binge watch from episode 1 and she quickly grew on me.
She brought Virat along and together they created the magic of Sairat and before I knew it, their journey became an intergral part of my daily life.
Sai was so fascinating that I started following Ayesha on different SM platforms and I was quickly drawn to her off screen personality- the chirpy, humble Ayeshu with an infectious smile.ā¤ļø
She seemed to be so different from your regular celebrity and you could relate to her as a girl next door who is loved by the entire neighborhood.
In the show, Sai taught us virtues like self righteous, humility, putting others first, selflessness, bravery and independence. ā¤ļø
She is the epitome of the āmodern Indian girlā who knows what she wants in life. š¤
But as they say, good things didnāt last that long and for whatever off screen reasons, Saiās personality took a hit! š¤
From the spunky Sai, she was butchered at different times in different ways depending on offscreen shenanigans and TRP.š
Sairat was destroyed and Sai became a single mother.
The initial phase of post leap was another Sai we saw.
A grown up woman, a responsible single mother and a dedicated doctor.
Ayeshu pulled it off so beautifully that Sai was once again my reason to continue watching.ā¤ļø
It was not a Sairat show anymore. For me, it was one and only Sai Joshi show.
Ayeshu shone as the adult Sai - the character went through innumerable trials and tribulations though up till now the rotten makers have not given her any justice. š”
And now after her marriage to Satya, they are out to dissipate her character to shreds. š”
I donāt recognize this Sai anymore. š
Anyway, no point talking about that, they are finally wrapping up their own rubbish!
Sai might exit, Ayesha might leave but for viewers like me, Sai is a character who will be etched in ITV history.
She will serve as the yardstick for future shows, whenever they try to write a strong female lead.
She has set the standards and will always be my most favourite fictional character ever. ā¤ļø
As for Ayeshu, I am happy she is finally out of this toxic show that has rotten to the roots.
Hope she gets some really promising roles in really good projects.
You lived Sai and you will do the same with other characters too.
All the very best for a brilliant future ahead ā¤ļø
