India is a secular nation as of now. It is not a Hindu nation. For India to become a Hindu state, there has to be a change made in the constitution of India and India has to declare itself as a Hindu State / Nation to the rest of the World.

Pakistan, Afghanistan, Qatar, Dubai, Syria are official Islamic nations from what I understand.
