Sorry I do not think star kids got into these unis on merit. Seems like legacy admissions thanks to rich and famous parents.

Deans list also seems like legacy influence.

I have never seen a highly educated star kid or a topper or someone who made it on his own merit in academics or non showbiz field.

I have read Tusshar Kapoor was a topper as a kid and stood first in class. But IDK how true it is.

He did not take admissions in just about any engineering college or a paid seat. He was a topper.

No legacy admissions like these Ivy league unis.

Only someone who thinks all admissions are perhaps paid seats or small colleges or reservations will say such words ki medical ya engineering college mein admission lena badi baat nahi hai.

Getting admission is ok

what matters is who finished degree successfully

many ppl take admission never finish degree as they think MBA, MBBS, Engineering, CA study is easy like 11th and 12th Std its not

It requires lot of studies and brains and patience to pass MBBS, MBA, CA or engineering degree on own without copying or grace marks etc and with all politics by lecturers, fellow classmates etc in big colleges

In MBA in a trimester you have 12 subjects not easy to study and pass 12 different subjects in 3 months every 3 months for 2 years continously. Only brainy and dedicated ppl can do all that.

Same for MBBS you have exams for many subjects and side exams etc lab exams not easy to study and pass dedication and brain required. Plus in MBBS you have to sometimes work as doctor in hospital of college plus study which is tougher

recently a university was in controversy for money for marks in MBBS degree.

Some can,US, west indies etc also has worst medical colleges, colleges are in mall there for MBBS degrees. Those doctors could never pass india medical entrance forget UK or USA medical entrance exams

Its tougher to pass IIMB entrance exam than harvard entrance exam for MBA usually so thats how tough MBA or MBBS is.

IVY league colleagues work on donations more rich and famous your dad or mom is easier to get admissions there so harvard/stanford/yale does not really mean brainy if you have rich parents

But yes like you said idf you get a rank in college you are brainy

There are quite few actors who graduated with Firsts, A levels or high GPAs and several who have Master degrees.

The Deans List is made on grades not influence - they are usually awarded by academic term. For Columbia University it requires a GPA of 3.6 (out of 4.0) or higher

I think what the member meant, was that it’s far far easier to get into ILs’ if you’ve well-to-do/wealthy partners which is just a fact. 😆 Seen it with well-to-do/wealthy people around me a lot. Alumni grace is a real thing there too. And again, no-one is saying that actors aren’t smart but just BECAUSE someone is a topper doesn’t mean they’re NECESSARILY smart, is all I mean & I think the member did too.

My main point was that people can’t crap on stars kid’s achievements just cause they are star kids or they are kids of people they don’t like.

of course medical college mein laiq log he jatay hain but plenty of “donations” and being kids of doctors or alumni helps one secure admission even in most prestigious med/Eng colleges

magar yahan agar koi star kid athvi fail hai tu usko bhi troll karo aur agar koi achay numbers say degree lay raha hai ti belittle their achievements too

Sorry atominis I would maybe take your words a little more seriously if you hadn’t made it your life mission to drag srk using his family… you have this habit of praising aryan and then use a backhanded compliment to drag him in second breath… just two pages ago you said oh aryan is so good looking… he’s better looking than his father… this is a pattern you keep repeating all over the forums… and if soemien is praising him you will come and join and then say backhanded stuff like oh I hope he doesn’t ruin his life further and gets the help he needs

Funny how you think that all people who are in med/Eng colleges are on fair basis… plenty of admissions even in highly repute colleges whcuh are given in return for “donation” or even if parents are alumni.

I just find it a bit hypocritical that same people will cry day and night about star kids being dumb and no education will come and crap on the ones who are actually doing better in college.

as for you, you just have this agenda to come and drag srk and his family in every topic.

Edit: I hope you know you can just say aryan is good looking without mentioning his looks being superior to his fathers.

Aamir won’t come and snatch your fan card from you ☺️

Juhi’s daughter always gave me a girl interested in academia more than being a plastic doll vibe 😆 honestly I am hoping Aryan and her get married..😆IDK this was when Aryan never used to smile for paps.. and I remember when he was with Juhi’s daughter in IPL auction..he was laughing and seemed more at ease etc 😎

You need help.

I nowhere mentioned SRK or his family. This topic is about Juhi and her daughter.

And she graduated from Columbia.

I know exactly how legacy admissions work and sons and daughters of elite, wealthy families make it to big unis abroad.

Amused if anyone thinks someone like daughter of Juhi or Smriti Irani made it to Ivy league uni on merit. Or Sara made it to Columbia purely on merit.

We know how Indira Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi also studied abroad.

Keep your complexes to yourself. This has nothing to do with SRK or Aamir or their sons.

You dragged names of SSR and Manushi who are self made kids from ordinary families. This is why I calles out the fallacy of your statement.

It is no mean feat to get all India rank 4 in AIEEE. Or win medals at Olympiads being from a middle class family in Bihar.

Those who have studied actually or given exams themselves, know what it takes to clear such exams on own merit and what hard work it takes.

To casually say it is no big deal to get admissions in medical or engineering college and name SSR of all people is sheer undermining of genuine talent and hard work.

None of these spoilt rich brats get admissions on their merit. They never even study because they know it is not important and they have parental wealth and occupation to inherit.

Years ago US college admissions scandal broke out and it was all over the internet how rich people get their kids in these colleges even if kid has no merit or scores.

Even LSE was exposed for giving favours to sons of heads of state and a prof himself wrote thesis for son of president of Libya.

I can post plenty of links to such controversies and expose.

It is sheer shamelessness to compare SSR to kids of rich people or claim it is no big deal to get admission in engineering or medical. Khud kuch kiya ho toh pata ho.

The sheer competition and number of applications for limited number of seats. There is a reason why students commit suicide every year or even toppers fail to make it or get good ranks in all India entrance exams.

Not every seat is a paid seat in a private college or a legacy admission for famous family kids.

I stand by what I said. Does not matter whose kid it is. There is NO celeb kid who has scored well in exams here ir got single digit ranks here like SSR so stop demeaning that man to defend coddled star kids. SSR earned every bit of his achievements in academic field and I wish a man of that merit did not enter a shallow industry like BW and lose himself here.

What a joke.

I want to know which medical college gives admission on basis of being kid of a doctor? 🤣

Kuch bhi?

Admissions in medical colleges do not work like Bollywood films my dear. You do not get admissions in medical colleges for being daughter or son of doctor parents. Nor you get admissions in law college for being daughter or son of lawyers or engineering college for being kid of engineers.

My dad, uncles and aunt are doctors so I know first-hand.

My dad's friend is also a doctor but he could never get his son in a medical college.

At the most there are paid seats in low tier, private colleges or management quota or NRI quota or sports quota. But no quota for being kid of doctor parents.

Anyway this is a silly gossip forum so I do not expect serious discussions or estimation of real life dynamics here.

BTW - the looks thing I noticed later. I have always maintained Junaid looks nothing like Aamir and is not star material. Star kids always get compared to parents. Deal with it. Abhishek is nowhere near his dad. Esha and Ahana are nowhere near Hema. Sunny and Bobby are nowhere near Dharmendra in looks or stardom. Aryan being better looking than dad is a fact. He looks way better than what his dad did at his age. Just as Hrithik is way more handsome than his dad ever was. This is a compliment. But if fans take offense at this, then it is their issue, not mine.
