The way the story is progressing, I hate Vidhi more than Amba..... So exactly as you mentioned, if one takes out the criminal part, Vidhi is worse than Amba.

Wonder what he sees in her: so very true! That dialogue "Vidhi mujhe tum pe fakra hai" was so damn lame.... just a diluter to keep us viewing their chemistry....... And it's there in every episode like a bloody carrot with a non-convincing screenplay.

The makers are trying to glorify Vidhi...... but they simply DO NOT understand our sentiments around Dev..... they are making a puppet out of him.

And sach mein Vidhi toh pakki panouti hai😡.... She herself wears a new dress everyday and why is Dev being made to wear old stuff.... same repeated shirts every time..... She mortgaged that one ring she had..... Got him one shirt..... Uss ko bhi gundo ne nikaal kar aag mein daal diya...... truly ill hearted gift, I would say.

And the makers truly don't have any respect for our intelligence...... Vidhi ke paas sirf Maa ki di hui angoothi hai??? So they are clearly stating that all other jewelry she and Satya are wearing is all fake..... She was married into big Richand family, with lot of gifts from sasuraal, right?...... Pathetic writing😡...... Bheekmange saale!..... I am so frustrated track after track.... at the end of my tether!

They never had any strategy for post wedding track. There personalities and relationship could have unfolded too especially because Dev was living with another person for the first time ever and so was Vidhi... but nothing on that front. Zilch.

So it boils down to what you said, Vidhi was in love with the idea of Dev and not Dev.
