I was upset when I saw this comment on instagram. Ask those who have lost their fathers. Who dont have a chance to call out to their dads one more time. Always think twice before speaking, coz it may hurt someone deep. Being orphan does not deserve hatred.

The saddest thing is, regressive shows like these encourage these attitudes, i remember in the 90s on doordarshan we had shows which shamed people who thought like this, made them realize their mistakes and change

And now we have such poor regressive shows pushing society back with show getting great awards and trps and makers and lead actors defending the show and callijg it progressive. Entire system is rotten

Mockery of sacred institution of marriage, blatant mockery of traditions, customs, every relation and the show is high on TRP.

What does one infer from this?

1. The TRP system is grossly faulty?

2. People (urban or rural) still sympathise with this the characters?

We have seen in the past law suits against Television shows/channels. Anyone remembers if there ever was anything against Sitara?

PH like DKP have no concept of corporate social responsibility. They wield so much soft power but do nothing with it. They have the platform here to call out regressive thinking and behaviour in a non preachy way to raise awareness with viewers. But, all we end up with is Baa's "dheere dheere hum bhi tameez bhool jayenge", again ramming home the point that what she's been saying so far has been full of tameez!

In today's episode, Dolly was saying to Baa that she was perfectly right about Dimpy being bad... If we go back to the previous episodes, Baa was actually badmouthing Dimpy because she is a survivor and she didn't want her as Samar's wife just because of the abuse she went through... This was even before Dimpy turned rude and the negative character... They made Dimpy negative, justified Baa's taanes and even made a statement about it... What a horrible message🤢

This show has a false lens of looking progressive. It has normalised,no actually justified every kind of abuse under the garb of family and relationships. Even Ekta Kapoor's shows were lot better back then. I remember Tulsi killed her own son Ansh and here the world's besht mother covered up her son's ema as anger issues. The most irritating thing is people's constant rant about this show topping the trp charts as if it's a benchmark for being the flag bearer of women empowerment. I mean how can u guys remain oblivious to the repercussions it is having on the minds of gullible viewers? I have already seen some comments vilifying orphan kids and being suspicious about women with dark backgrounds. We are already struggling to break these stereotypes and this show has strengthened it at grassroot level. WELL DONE TEAM ANUPAMAA! 😏

1. Anupama not just stays at Shah House but also spills pearls of wisdom and taunts to Kavya who is now the legally wedded wife.

2. Takes decisions for Shahs whether they should have a maid or not, they should buy a washing machine or not, Malavika should stay at Shah House.

3. Anupama and Vanraj perform the phunctions of Sweetudi Pakhi's wedding as Mata-Pita while Anuj is a mere sponsor.

4. Anupama and Vanraj can perform Pari's Namkaran phunction as Daada-Daadi while Anuj is on Video call.

5. At the hospital say, "Kagaj pe likh dene se......." and run to Shah House under Leela's pressure telling Anuj "Aati jaati rahungi"

How is this scenario different?

Now Consider a scenario where Anuj wouldn't have come or only Anuj would have come, what Anupama have done?

This question arises because Anupama is found to take the moral highground on Sanskaar, Sabhyata, Sanskriti, Riste.
