Lol i though HUM quality was going downhill will two shows with jija sali marriage. But geo reached the next level. Now I think it actually will not happen. But the sasta promotion geo is doing is digusting. I remember even in Yaarian Geo showed MR. So not a big issue for them.

Bilal's expressions after saying something cute or funny is very adorable. The expression he made after saying what all he notices in a girl was super adorable and his expressions the entire time Rabia was pulling his legs for never giving IVs 😆. This is why people have this misconception that he is a Shareef bacha 🤣

Audience should think twice before making anything served by geo a massive success. Blame for these kind of content being shown multiple times goes to the audience as well. They should be held accountable for watching trash as much as producers, directors, and actors for doing trash.

I read a tweet by shahziya saying slapping and dragging around female characters were never shown in the older pak dramas but now it's been shown to much that audience got immune to it and they feel it's not a big deal. Now if the makers continue to show spitting on a regular basis it will also get normalised. She is absolutely right. The amount of people saying murtasim should hit haya is a proof of this. Normalising MR, slapping, dragging, spitting etc are not okay. If some people enjoy watching it atleast have the common decency to not justify these actions of the leads. Just because the characters shown onscreen are fictional doesn't mean anything can be shown happening to those characters.

It's not about showing MR or r*pe in general, it's the way it's shown that matters. Showing MR as a social evil in dramas is a good thing and should be talked about but using it and sensationalising it and romanticizing it is where the problem lies. TB first romanticized slapping the FL and made it look like she deserved it. Then romanticized a husband asking his wife to jump off the roof and justified it as his passion or intense love. They have always shown Murtasim's anger management issue as a part of his macho trade and a hot character trade. He ended up almost killing himself and meerab because of his rage but the makers put the blame for that too in meerab's head. She made him angry and that's why he drove recklessly 🤢. Even meerab herself felt guilty and he got scot free simply because it's said he shielded meerab.

Udaari showed child abuse. But they didn't show that to get popular or to make more money. They did that to make people aware about these things.
