Her poker face is because she's not comfortable with the whole situation and new family yet and is too shaken up by the incident. She looked happy and relieved when Vinu called her up. So she's merely doing what directors have asked. When she consoles Satya and hands him water she has softened and isnt poker faced.

In contrast NB has a clear decline in acting for the exact same kinda scene the beginning of show to later on.

They blow hot and cold at her. She doesn't see Amba as Aai yet even though she calls her that. She is still reeling from commissioner, danger of dying, not seeing her kids, explosion, press conference etc.
