We don't exactly know why she was defending asfar. She was also taunting salman with shehrish saying he also knows so much about shehrish in such a short time. Something i didn't think Aaliya will say. So she might have witnessed salman and shehrish being close. She also gave that file to salman quite rudely in the promo and it looked like salman was already siting in the cabin when she came. So she came pissed off at him already.

Aaliya might be there with asfar professionaly when his father gets hospitalized. I noticed that they didn't give out too many scenes in the ost like most other dramas. Most of the scenes in the ost were from initial episodes only.

I don't know how but i thought they are sisters or cousins. I think it's said in the initial episode that saif is their cousin. First cousin or second cousin I don't know but i think they are relatives.
