Baapuji is manipulative

I’ve seen many other people comment on this in the forum, and at first it took me by surprise, but now I completely see it…Baaapuji is totally manipulative. He is not the supporting father He likes to pretend to be for her.

I saw an older episode (214)when Anupama was first trying to leave the house- she’s made the decision to not live under the same roof as Kavya/Vanraj-she’s basically walking out of the house, and Bapu Ji comes with his very supportive, sounding lecture… Giving her all the props and then right at the end as she’s about to leave, he says… “That’s fine you can leave, but… what do we tell Paakhi?- you know she needs her mom and dad- and me and baa won’t be able to handle her” (or something to that effect)

Wow. Being this far into the series and watching an older episode like that, I can see the signs have always been there.

He’s as guilty as Baa and Vanraj of wanting to keep her there.

So writer dont want exit vanraj baa and bapuji so anupama time to time keep visit them or force her to visit them or stay with them

Ok writer dont want exit vanraj baa but at least give proper redemption if they want to show anupama cordial relationship with ex sasural

Like Devika has cordial relationship with ex nanand who is school Principal

Ikr, even I had earlier thought that he was being misunderstood, but no, he really is manipulative and calculating. Well, honestly looking back on it, he is even more dangerous than baa. We critisised her, for good reason too, but she is more overdramatic, selfish and sometimes downright crazy.

Vanraj may look like he has taken after his mother, but the manipulative side comes totally from dukhmukh. Then again he has picked the worst traits of both sides. The less said about him, the better.

Known enemies can be handled not ones in the garb of well wishers.

I agree Bapuji is manipulative and never really cared for Anupamaa’s wishes when she wanted to leave but what reason has Anupamaa now to be back with the Shahs? her kids are not ill or in trouble but she still chooses to go back to the hell hole at the drop of a hat even now after making tall claims, Bapuji cant be blamed for her misery now.

Maybe bapuji knew Anupama can never stay away so he decided to be the bad guy and give her an excuse. If not Bapuji, Anupama would have found some other excuse for staying or coming back, like she has done so many times in the show

Have u seen her pakao khichdi for her

Have u seen her making chai, dhokla Or having picnic with her.

Have u seen bajaying ghanti of her school on daily basis.
