Sai Satya Drabble: Expectations

Sai sometimes couldn't believe Satya. Not because he was annoying but because he was annoyingly kind. At times it scared her. She expected him to flip on his words, to remind him that they are married, that she is the daughter-in-law of his family. But he did no such thing. He didn't dismiss her, but he didn't blame her, and honestly, that scared her, that he had no expectations from her.

Sai didn't have expectations from him or from the marriage, but sometimes, her heart wondered if there was more to their relationship. Their friendship was one of the very few relationships in her life where she didn't feel tied down. He was one of the few people in her life who didn't make her feel suffocated.

And that scared her. What if someday, she starts expecting things from him? What if her heart was right and their relationship was more than just two friends? What was she to do when her heart would start making demands that she knew she couldn't fulfill? What was she to do when someday, she would fall in love with Satya?

Idk what my plan was with this one, but I hope it made sense. I love their angst so freaking much, but Ig utna content mil nahi raha mujhe.

Nice drabble. Sai till now was with people who made her feel suffocated through their words and action except aaba and her kids. Even if she was right she was made to feel wrong.

Satya on the other hand tries to understand and gives her the advice and who knows one day they both might fall in love with each other

But Sattu is a gem. She isn't used to sincerely kind hearted people like him.

I wish they could spare time to focus of how much difference the two families have on Sai and Savi, how the two men and their approaches affect her. But yeh humko analyse karna padta hai

I can't wait for them to fall in love,it would be beautiful to see what someone like Satya be in love😭

It is honestly heartbreaking to see Sai's condition. A girl who was full of life turned into this. Hope one day she will realize that it is not wrong to expect things from a relationship and second chance is always a possibility. Life don't stop with one failed relationship and friendship is the first step towards a new beginning.
