I heard a saying a few years ago, that nobody knows a man's nature better than his wife, not even his mother. And I can see why when looking at characters like abhimanyu. A lot of men tend to show their best and most obedient sides to their mother's, but their real nature/ temperaments they are more comfortable showing to their partner, because with a mother people tend to feel more morally obligated to be respectful towards their mothers no matter what.

Completely agree. The dynamics a man shares with his mum and wife are different & I don't expect Ab to put Ak on the same pedestal as his mum.

What I tried saying was that if Ab operates from this place of extreme anger, hidden trauma, intrinsic impulsivity as is said in his defense then why does this never come out in front of his mumma. These personality traits are pretty much involuntary.

Like Ak is stupid & selfless so she shows those traits not only for Ar, Ab but also for random girls.

Like Ar is selfish & manipulative so she shows those traits even with her own family.

But not once has Beta Birla let any of his core personality traits hurt his mummy. This means he can exercise control over them, then why doesn't he bother doing so when dealing with other people he claim to love.. Ye kaisi personality hui😕

Abhimanyu has anger issues ..he can get angry on anyone except his maa ..what if in his utmost anger he pushes akshara and something happens to her ..

Akshara when someone is in anger mode she gets panic attacks ..

If seeing her calms him down like in gangster stories where the gangster one look at his lady love instantly calms down its different ..

But here it's not like this so the conclusion is they both r incompatible ..

Abhinav is a calm and composed person he can make her calm down ..

I'm telling all these in realistic view not for ITV

I know. I have read enough of these shitty smutty romance novels in my teenage years. And the hero could be an American gangster, Russian mob or even Italian mafia. Killed so many people and is kind of irredeemable as a human being. He might also have angry issues, manhandled the heroine before falling in love and even be a captor. But in all these romance novels, there is this one thing that is uniform that when the guy falls in love with the girl and vice versa, then she kind of becomes everything. She is not ill treated and thrown away according to the guy's whims. And if she is thrown away or is broken up with, it is mostly to keep her safe from whatever danger is looming. And if it is some misunderstanding that is caused by someone else, the hero repents and repents and cries and begs.

That is why people like reading these books. And I think this is why Abhimanyu kind of has fans. But the thing is Abhimanyu is not like it. He treats Akshara as shit. He never keeps her first. He always is selfish and puts him and his feelings first. He never repented for what he did to her. Everyone knows how wrong and shitty his mom is but he does nothing. But in those novels when the moms are acting like deranged vamps against the heroine, she is put in place.

That's why I don't understand why Abhimanyu has fans.
