Does this rasam come after the nikka? In my (Hindu) wedding it came after the wedding ceremony…and it came from the Punjabi side (My husband.) In pure Bengali weddings I don’t think we have the ring searching rasam, or at least I just haven’t seen it.

I don't know if it happens after Nikkah, maybe someone can confirm it but this rasam generally happens after the wedding ceremony in Hindu marriages.
