Wrongdoers are - in my thinking - first persons who do very wrong things regardless any other attribute. It's only when I look for possible reasons for the wrong-doing, I consider life defining conditions.

I’d rather any kind of discussion than none at all and everyone stay mum about it. The aim should always be to educate people, not shut down conversation full stop. And no, this is the problem. It’s not regardless of any other attribute. In the cases I mentioned, religion was the biggest driving force. It’s a bitter pill no one wants to swallow. Dare I say, stereotypes across all cultures and religions exist for a reason.

Love Jihad/Conversion to Islam through marriage is the Cold Hard truth and its not relegated to Kerala alone either. Multiple Pakistani Gangs in the UK were exposed systematically targeting Sikh girls.

I just don't think it has anything to do with ISIS. These men are encouraged by their local Clergy to target women of other faiths and convert them into Islam because they're spreading the message of Allah.....heaven & all that Jazz. The men are as brainwashed as the women they target. It's the Clergy that should be exposed.

People should be able to date/marry whoever they want religion notwithstanding, but people should be aware of the malcontents that exist in our society.

yep, stereotyping exists for a reason which doesn't mean that it's the right/a good thing to do.

Talking first about the attribute before the person is judging the attribute not the individual. A Muslim man, a Hindi woman, a Catholic girl, a middle class boy...and bingo, one focuses on Muslim, Hindi, middle class etc. and a stream of associations coming with these attributes.

In a movie where factual ISIS criminal acts are narrated, it is okay to point out that young men of ISIS are educated in a way that makes them act in a criminal way/with terror and disregarding human rights of other people. However, there are many many non Muslim men who do similar crimes and they rightly get the attributes of being criminal, human trafickers, enslaving women.

And there are many many Muslim men who are neither criminels nor terrorists who just want to live a decent life in peace with their neighbours having friends and family members with another religious background.

Discussing the vile act of luring young women into a relationship/kidnapping them for a personal agenda or an order given by superiors is an issue that passes the boundaries of a religion.

Discussing the subject of this movie is only a part of the greater issue... religion is a tool of educating boys and young men for a special purpose acting against humanity and - in this case - violating the basic values of Islam.

Discussing the movie itself and how it deals with the issue is only possible after having watched it (in my thinking).

Very strange this whataboutery.

Facts don't lie.

People act as if Muslims are special targets. They are not.
Other people might be involved but nowhere to this extent. Those are just facts. Face them and deal with them.
The problem is the cover that good Muslims provide to the bad elements in their community.

With Hindus it is the opposite. They are the first ones to condemn their own community.

If there are incidents of Hindu/Christian men, clergy/pundits systematically brainwashing Muslim women, converting them and turning them into terrorists who want to bomb humanity and someone wants to make a movie about it more power to them. They should.

Well kerela has a majority of muslims.

Many don't about how ISIS operates in kerela. There are many women who are misguided in the name of jihad and turned violent.

This is an eye opening movie and I can't wait to watch this.
