Add to it the constant harassment, there is angst and plenty of it. While she gets to work with the best and lead a team, dealing with the constant staring, declarations of love, not taking the no, etc from the man at the top itself is extremely stressful and distressing. And one has to let it be - quite a compromise to make to retain the job, to pursue one’s passion. Not easy at all, definitely should never be the case.
Yes, she will have to at some point process the night she spent in exchange for money, but how can she do that with all the other things Viaan has been doing- at first the apologies- even going to her house and then the attempts to talk to her, later the teenage attitude. She needs her space and time. Wish the writers had given her that instead of steamrolling one thing after another at her!

The writers have to decide who and what Viaan is.

Can I give infinite likes to this?❤️ Two guys, who are co-owners of the company harassing, a single working mother is so crass👎🏼 The writers lost all respect for Viaan at that moment, the respect he earned while he is redeeming, got all lost in my eyes💔.

I feel like they left Katha's core intact, other than leaving Aarav totally free with no supervision. She remained true to her character, she seems to be the one who sees the big picture. But, even the most stable people are allowed to have melt downs😭 when they do understand what is going on but don't want to acknowledge it🤔

On another note, do you guys think that Katha will face the incident of ONS head on and process it? She put a heavy lid on that experience, trauma, humiliation etc. Realistic part of me wants her to deal with it personally and then process it with Viaan. I don't know how, but may be have a popcorn and screaming/crying party, reminiscing and talking about each of their prejudices, majbooris, humiliation they felt, so on and so forth😒 Because this is so personal and if they want to move this relationship forward.

But the drama lover in me😈says, what is the use of having a private party, when you can have a grand scale dhamaka? 😲☢️And we get to eat popcorn instead!🥳I wonder if this is where they will need each other for support.

Otherwise, Viaan is like a monkey swinging wide from tree to tree🤡. I expected an intense, understanding and magnanimous Viaan to be present for Katha in the back ground. Not this guy doing night outs, raiding the shelves of Barnes and Noble and web surfing figuring out how to be a dad and a partner🤢Please do not mistake me, I don't mean that staying in back ground is being meek, tongue tied and worship the ground she walks on. More like a sounding board for her, because with Adi gone, she probably has her own internal conversations/debates instead of healthy screaming matches with a friend or a partner😃

mili -- to answer your question "do you guys think that Katha will face the incident of ONS head on and process it?" -- I don't think the writers will go there:

#1 if they have katha really introspect, then we are going back to grey ML and somehow the makes are afraid of losing audience.

#2 katha has been from the beginning rather opaque. we hardly ever hear her internal thoughts and we are forever forced to guess from her expressions which at times looks the same nowadays.

that said, I do think they should have katha process because this is a key part of the drama that set it apart from others and now it is like that chapter never happened. boring!

I feel like they got scared of having a real grey ML and had to whitewash him. hence, saint viaan which some seem to love but many of us here on IF are scratching our heads. if we had gotten glimpses of saint viaan from the start, it wouldn't feel like an abrupt whiplash. but there was no proper transition. so we had tough CEO and after he falls in love, he loses his brains and his competitive edge? that makes no sense to me.

it is also why we are having uneven love story in my view. saint viaan would be a different kind of love story. something soft and not necessarily edgy. the original dizi was set to be a high live wire type romance. we saw those strong clashes between the two of them in the beginning. then, viaan had to miraculously change to saint viaan over one lonovala trip and the drama literally lost its momentum and this forum lost members.

so katha as she was originally written is meant for a grey ML and not saint viaan. she needs someone who will push back when she goes overboard. to challenge her and those preconceptions. someone professing undying love and idolizing her is not going to cut it. those clashes and fights need to happen in order to really push the story.

currently it is all flat emotionally which is why I am skipping episodes regularly. if it wasn't for this forum, I would have probably dropped it entirely. if you have a ML who is constantly backpedaling, it is not entertaining to watch. if they did, people would be loving reet and yuvi. 😂

M, I don’t understand why they had the courage to do this show, and then backtracked to make it more palatable to the Indian audience. Sony's shows don't even get decent TRPs. Their target audience is different. I personally feel that they have more international audiences than local audience. Why not stick to the actual story and let it play out? When I see Viaan now, there are instances where I feel like I am actually seeing Adnan more than Viaan. This is weird for me as I did catch Adnan in Ishq Subhan Allah. He was even more intense and strict as Kabir. Viaan had an edge to him which is completely missing now. That's my issue with the way he lets Katha treat him. The lady is walking all over him, and the guy is turning to Prof Google! Anyway, ranting about it won't change anything....might as well make our peace with Viaan 2.0 and hope for Viaan 3.0.

Little does she realise that by feeling free to be so rude with Viaan she is lowering the walls of formality & distance between them even more. Think how she rebuffed Ehsan with a mixture of friendzoning & professional formality. She never took the liberty to tell him off or be rude to him.

Exactly, my thoughts. She needs to thrash around with the discovery that not only herself but her son is also falling in love with Viaan. Both of the defenses she put around herself are crumbling 1. her eternal love story with Adi, living or not is not holding true 2. Her child who would never accept another man in her life, had fallen flat for Viaan. Both of these truths are unnerving her, no matter however stable she is.

So, she will thrash around, she doesn't have anybody who would accommodate her flailing around and hitting them ( not literally, but you know what I mean ). With Viaan, she subconsciously understands that he won't judge her and will bear with it, and she also shares a personal secret with him. As crude and illogical as it sounds, her connect with Viaan is much more than anybody else in her life at the moment. I didn't particularly think she is disrespectful, but will certainly say that she is more forthright and has done away with superficialities and formalities🤔

I enjoy reading your analysis of episodes. 😊

Haven't been active in forum as I'm not following show regularly since the time Viaan's actions seemed creepy to me as he reminded me of a guy who exhibited similar behaviour which made me uncomfortable during same time..

After reading your posts...I'm thinking to start watching again selectively based on ur reviews.

I should thankyou... your posts relieve my stress during my exams as they make me laughsmiley36❤️

Oh my ! I am overwhelmed, my dear🤗 Thank you for letting me know that I provide some reprieve from stress❤️. I never thought I would get this from anybody

Wish you the very best in tests 👍🏼

Mili...this made me think of how after a few years of marriage spouses treat each other...no filters and no holds barred...cause I do this to my husband at times🤣! Except he does not act like a pushover and its a match of equals😉!!

Actually I think Sony does that at times. I remember watching this show called Beyhadh2 with Jennifer Winget a few years back...the theme was that the woman who had an affair with the much married father who cheated on her and she comes back for revenge and then falls in love with the son. So once it was revealed that she was the father's ex, the trp kept dropping...people started commenting that it was like courting your step mom😕! After picking such a bold theme the channel pulled the plug on the show midway without even giving it a proper ending. The reason quoted was trps but I think they bite more than they can chew. Hence the watered down version of Viaan sans any angst around the ONS.

🤗 in many eyes! Being silently in love and processing it, processing how it will be taken by Katha and his mom would have been the mature and dignified way to go…keeping the respect.

I would love to see the writers show some progress and actually have her go through therapy. Don’t particularly care if they show the scenes or just mention the help she gets. It would be a good message to get out to the public.

And then of course she can call Viaan at all random hours to process it. Or share and then throw popcorn at him. As long as we get to enjoy the popcorn as well…

But the drama lover in me😈says, what is the use of having a private party, when you can have a grand scale dhamaka? 😲☢️And we get to eat popcorn instead!🥳I wonder if this is where they will need each other for support.

Would love it if they could actually show this. Leaning on each other, suffering together, healing together and finding that mutual respect and love.

Nothing to mistake, one can be a pillar of strength by being in the background, at the side or leading. Whatever works best in various situations! 🤗
