Nice ❤️

SaiYa telling Savi about the importance of consent. 👏 Wish every parent taught this to their children, irrespective of gender.

Such a heart warming update yaar ❤️

Gajra returns and our little savi wants her buddy to help her aai to put on them coz she heard gowri saying so 🤦‍♀️

Satya explained her why he can't do that and why consent matters in every relation 👏

You have conveyed a very good point through this part about consent which is very important im so glad you took this topic and wrote such a beautiful chapter 👍🏼

Such a thoughtful and beautiful piece.

but i have a minor addition. If it were me I would have included a few lines about Savi recalling how she asked V to put gajra and how he crossed the line and made Sai uncomfortable despite Sai refusing V and Sai saying- yes your baba made me uncomfortable that day despite my clear refusal whereas Satya is being a gentleman. so that Savi realizes the difference between good and bad touch, importance of consent even better.

I know Sai herself wont say it to pollute Savis mind against V but its different if Savi herself realizes that her baba did the wrong thing. adults dont always have to be correct

Savi made a zidd even that day, but V gave in whereas Satya knows which zidd is ok to give into and which isnt. its not a big deal if he did put gajra, Sai would have let it go but its the thought and gesture that counts.

I'd like Savi to realize that Satya can understand even non verbal cues whereas V failed to honor a plain and simple NO.

@last line, this means so much😭😭😭😭

I am not fond of touches, so it kind of bums me when people don't care for personal boundaries, this came from personal space🥲

I do agree, it's important that kids learn to set boundaries for themselves as it helps them grow into self assured individuals who can say no.

Thank you. I actually wanted to include it, but i hadn't watched the scene and I didn't want to ire any SaiRat/Virat fans. I did go back and forth and thought that since I am focusing on SaiYaVi's dynamics, I should skip Virat.

Ik I can't phase him out, I have to write him some day (and with the writers ruining him, I will have a hard time writing him well enough to keep SaiRat/Virat from atleast hating me) so I just need some time to figure out how I want to approach the distinction of parenting between the two men and their relationship with Sai too.

Imo you should not have to censor or modify your FF based on what anyone will think- especially those that are endorsing toxicity, abuse as love. It is important for Savi to realize the distinction between the 2 men and about the fact that her baba isnt as amazing as she has built him up to be. She can be shielded from the truth but truth will become obvious eventually. Cant be hidden forever. Just observation is enough for Savi to see the obvious.

I love your idea and how thoughtful this piece is though! Look forward to reading more :)
