Illegal surrogacy was like the nail on SaiRat's coffin.

And Virat snatching Vinu away was like their antim sanskaar.

I just realized that I both cremated AND buried SaiRat...BUT THAT'S HOW BADLY THEY KILLED THEM!

To me I never hated any character! I look them as the part of the story. Story goes through highs and lows especially when it is presented as a life journey.

So if we go by that there are few phases which were really draining to watch. They are episodic for me.
1. I didn’t like virat ousting sai in the middle of the night. It is the first black mark for virat.
2. second black mark for virat is episode 546 where he expressed his desire to make pakhi the surrogate. More than surrogacy I disliked this virat.
3. Him marrying (using) pakhi for adoption. I can never forgive him for that.

These 3 are Low phases in the story and I didn’t like them. However they redefined the story and introduced necessary conflicts

Sai was always consistent and her life has so many up and downs. I never disliked her in any phase. I only wanted her to see things better. Only wanted to shake her up sometimes 😅

1. Sruthi track

2. Marriage with Sathya

both are decisions taken in haste! But that’s sai for you.

I always liked the story of ghum. 👍 and rooted for siarat because their life is dictated by others and situations. 😭 more than themselves.

I agree, Sai's character was one of the few characters that were not really ruined much, but then again, she is the ITV female lead, and while she was an unconventional one, they weren't going to destroy their own FL's character.

I also agree that it was Virat's character rather than the actual plot that ruined things. I was recently watching some older scenes, and Virat, while still short-tempered and angry, was so gentle with Sai. Always motivating her, taking care of her, apologizing when needed, persuading her, treating her...and then it is as if something just changed, suddenly he stopped caring about Sai as a separate human being and started to think of her (if thought about her at all) as just a person he loves.

I think that's where Virat's character failed. He started to think that just because he now loves Sai, she is obliged to love him the same way, to always trust him, to always believe him, to always side with him, and to always agree with him. But he forgot that Sai is not just his love interest, she is also another human who has her own opinions, her own mind, and her own inner battles to face. But Virat just didn't care.

Then Ajinkya happened and the accident. That was the first irreparable damage to V's character. After Mahabaleshwar track, it went down hill. I stopped watching continuously. Suurogacy track .... I would have beaten Virat black and blue had I been in Sai's place.

I appreciate acting but for me story matters. If the storyline is good, even if the actors are not upto the mark, I will still watch. If story is pathetic, no amount of chemistry can make me root for them.

Oh, Ajinkya incident was so horrible. And it was even worse when you realize that the promo for that track had fun music playing in the background.

Plus, that track was also so ridiculous. As Virat shouted at Sai, and then both of them had no conversation, no fight at all, and immediately started chasing each other out of the house in the middle fo the road?! Like...was a child writing it or something?

This is the best way to watch this show...no, scratch that. The best thing is to simply NOT watch this show...but that ain't gonna happen for reasons unknown *cough* ganja *cough*

Also, the characters are no longer characters. They are simply plot devices to move a story forward, and that's just sad.

Like woman...what are you smoking here? Sai never forced them to throw Virat out, she never forced them to believe that Virat is cheating one her (which he kinds was if you think about it), they all themselves only developed that opinion, then how was it all Sai's fault?

Plus, how else is a wife suppose to behave when she learns that her husband has literally registered himself as husband and father of some other woman and some other child...in OFFICIAL DOCUMENT?!!

The narrative during the whole Shruthi track eventually made Virat a victim and Sai the one who did him wrong..Nothing on Virat..The whole family blamed Sai for everything while Sai never asked them to side her..and the abuses that came ,heck.

Also the whole track of forcing on Sai that Virat and her are the people who belong to each other..I kept saying he is the only man in her life...kya karegi with so many people always manipulating her...Let her go out of this relationship see other men and then probably she will know it's not love, it's what she is obliged to do..an attachment to the man who saved her..who promised his father to take care of her and in the process also harmed her.

Post anniversary was really OTT and I skipped watching many episodes..

Post shruti track was the worst when they victimized him so much ..his behavior was totally wrong and his rudeness to Sai,his own mother was unjustifiable.

The confession was too public and after that Virat totally went downhill..the moment she proposed he took her for granted .

The surrogacy track was completely intolerable and it was the final nail in the coffin.

@bold. Something like that.

He comes with lot of expectations and one of them, the foremost is trust. He wants blind trust from Sai. Even if he takes decisions like Surrogacy, he wants her to trust him because he is not cheating on her 😆. It is a "weird" expectation when he himself doesnt trust her and CAes her on first go. He has this "false" sense of pride because he NEVER cheats with any woman even though they are throwing themselves on him like sruthi and pakhi. So he thinks he is chaste and expects Sai to also VALUE him for that! Sai always knew he will not physically cheat her ever even during deal phase. Her complaint was his prioritizing other women over her, at the cost of their own relationship. Who does that 😲

While he expects explicit trust from her in extreme circumstances, he easily mistrust her...That's his hypocrisy...If he hadn't thrown words at her linking her to Satya, all this wouldn't have happened

For me Virat was always a problematic character specially after Sai came to Chavan Niwas.

But it was okay as ITV thrives on toxic MLs and we know the og version was toxic.

But the way he kept stopping down was horrible.

I hated the most was that they are showing him as a Police Office ACP, DCP

&

He kept doing crimes and kept supporting criminals and misusing his powers.

Aur saare ML kamse kam Vardi pehen kar crimes and toxicity spread nahi karte hain.
